Love the third rack for large cutlery and it's super quiet.

This product is super quite however I would saw that it is not the most efficient.

We bought this Kitchenaid dishwasher because of an odor problem with our Bosch, which is only 3 years old. Dishes had a foul odor sometimes after washing. Originally we bought the Bosch because of how quiet they are but the Kitchenaid is as quiet or even quieter than the Bosch and no more stinky dishes!

Door bent and interior scratched. The racks wouldn’t stay in the dishwasher. We reordered a replacement door and that showed up damaged. Eventually replaced, and repairman left with out verifying the dishwasher worked. Had to have them come back to get it running again. Very poor quality and customer service.

I would give this right between a 4 and 5 stars. I LOVE how quiet it is! It is much more quiet than the Bosch we had. The 3rd rack on top - we have not really figured out how to use. It seems like things do not really get cleaned well on that rack so we are still trying to figure it out. Overall I would recommend it though!

We have had the dishwasher for several months and are very happy with it. Great product for the money.

Our first dishwasher was a kitchen aid. We replaced it with another brand. I am ready to go back to a Kitchenaid!

This is a great dishwasher with lots of room. The adjustable upper rack allows you to put wine glasses on top or tall plates on the bottom. The upper 3rd rack is great for knives with wood handles. Would recommend using Finish brand if using detergent pods and also use a rinse aid.

Purchased this dishwasher because our old Whirlpool broke down and it matched our KitchenAid double oven (which is great). This unit is a disaster for multiple reasons. The third rack is only good for leaving skinny things soaking wet. The Normal cycle with Heated dry takes about 2 hours - 2 hours! There is no indicator on the unit that tells remaining time - just a blue/red/white light that shows wash/dry/done. Lastly - after a HEATED dry cycle, your dishes will be soaked. Expect water to be everywhere and when you pull out the rack - that water will hit the floor. Oh - it is quiet, but I'd rather have a unit that doesn't require manual drying. A waste of $1000 and my time.

I have much more room to load dishes and utensils than I did before.

It is all about the quiet, especially in an open floorplan home. In our last home, we had a Bosch which was almost silent. The Kitchenaid has the same decibel rating (39) for less than half the price. Sure, you can get a 38 decibel Bosch now, but 39 was quiet enough for us.

We looked at every available product lineup & family from all manufacturers.... this is simply the best!

Lots of space inside, plenty of options for programming, when it is running you cannot even tell.

I love my new dishwasher! After our GE went bad aftrr 4 years, I really wanted something that would be awesome. We went in planning to get another brand but liked the features of this one. Some items need a quick dry but overall it works great. And it is super quiet!

Nicest dishwasher I've ever used and definitely the most quiet. The mechanism such as the door and drawers open/slide smoothly and easily!! It's of high quality. When on, I can't even hear it when standing next to it. Kitchen Aid is the best brand for dishwashers hands down.

My wife loves this dishwasher! Have been looking at it for a few months, researching and she decided this was the one as a replacement! Easy to install for the DIY. Even standing in front of it you have to check it to see if it is running....it is that quiet!!

So we bought this open box and when we had it installed there apparently is something broke on the bottom of the dish washer as when it goes to drain water goes everywhere but was very quiet compared to the old dishwasher. Now waiting on kitchen aid to send someone to repair it.

I had a Bosch and it was great but switched to Kitchenaid and am thrilled. It uses a different drying method so everything comes out without spots; even plastics. It is so quiet I have to out my ear to it to make sure it's running. Couldn't be happier.

Easy to load very big loads. Extremely quiet 39 db. Virtually can't hear it operating. Racks have ball bearing wheels which make them very easy to move to load. Like the red/blue/white small indicator light on the door, which tells you what is happening.
