Our old Kitchen Aid dishwasher had served us well, and we were looking to replace it with a quieter model. This is so quiet, we only know that it is running by the tiny blue light that is activated to indicate the cycles. The flexibility of the bottom shelf is great for serving bowls, pitchers and odd shaped items and there is still room to accommodate many place settings. The middle rack holds all of our tall glasses in any row, which is a plus, so no need to be rearranging to get stuff to fit. The very top rack gets used for lids mostly, although they do collect water by laying flat. It cleans dishes well, no spots or hazing, and dries well too.

Does what it's supposed to do in cleaning the dishes and is nearly silent. The 3rd rack is more in the way than helpful most of the time.

This dishwasher matches my range and refrigerator and they all look great together. The dishwasher works great so far, as well as or better than the Bosch I had and the warranty is better.

Replaced a 3 year old lower modelKitchenAid that worked very well. This works better and is much quieter. The top drawer does require large items to go on the bottom in most cases.

Love the easy glide racks and the extra rack on top for flat items! Very quiet - you can run it and still have a conversation in the kitchen! You don't even know it is on!

I love the dishwasher. It is so quiet you don't know that it is running even if you are standing right next to it. It has extra shelving for small items and long utensils.

Easy to load and unload. Cleans dishes very well. Not as quiet as our previous model, but still very quiet. More reliable then our last kenmore model. Overall an excellent purchase.

Turned it on for the first time and thought it wasn't running for how quiet it is. About as loud as a laptop computer. Washes very good. Dihes come out clean and dry.

High quality product that gets the dishes clean every time and it is so quiet that sometimes you wonder if it is turned on.

Super quiet. I have to get close to hear if it's even running. Only 'issue' I've seen is that there seems to be a lot of water build-up after each wash. Doesn't dry dishes completely.

Most places we shopped the lowest decibel you could purchase was a 44 decibel but best buy had this 39 decibel and it is amazingly quiet,we just love it !!

Exceptional buy and quality, performs well. But the panel died within 2 weeks, took another 2 weeks to get it fixed. Good product, speed of service is something to be desired.

We decided to upgrade to a more expensive dishwasher and chose this Kitchen Aid. If only I could turn back the clock and make a different choice. PROS: It fits all your dishes nicely. It's very quiet. CONS: It doesn't really clean all your dishes. Also, the door pops open in the middle of the cycle and shuts down the machine. It's under warranty but still annoying. Maybe the third repair appointment will be the charm.

Got a great deal on this on sale, has several features, including both evap and heated drying and the 3rd rack. Looks great as well. Good quality product for the price.

I have this for 3 weeks and it's been great! It's so silent that you can actually run it anytime you like even when people are in the kitchen and you can't hear anything!

This is a great dishwasher, so quiet did not think it was running. this dishwasher does a great job cleaning and the flexibility of the racks is a bonus.

This is one of the best dishwashers I have ever had. You can’t even tell if it’s on it’s so quiet. Dishes come out super clean every time.

Cleans well for the most part. Some deep bowls occasionally have rinse residue in them when they're stacked in the back right corner. Otherwise I'm very satisfied!
