Very modern with touch panel and special features. Silent work, you can't hear it functioning. Best buy installation was good .

This machine operates very quietly. The top and bottom rank areas and structure accommodates our dishes, pans and bowls. Plus, it has the third rack for flat items which is very handy for Tupperware type lids and large utensils.

I love, love my new dishwasher. It does everything I was told. It is so quiet I have to look for the on light to be sure it is running. It is so nice not to have to rinse the dishes before putting them in. All dried on food, including egg yolks wash off entirely. There has been nothing that I have had to rewash after the dishwasher ran. Did I say I love my new dishwasher?

After many years and many dishwashers, I had become accustomed to the noise of cleaning dishes drowning out conversations, television, music, etc. NO MORE! This dishwasher is stunningly quiet, as in you won't even know it's on. There's no compromise in cleaning either- everything is spotless after running, even when only using the regular cycle. Highly recommended!

We have an open floorplan so our kitchen is more-or-less a part of our living room. This is so silent, we don't even know that it's running. To give an idea of how quiet 39 dba is - that's as quiet as a refrigerator! 50 dba is rainfall or conversation, 60 is a sewing machine. So WOW the 39 dba that this puts out is incredibly quiet. It does an amazing job cleaning the dishes, the top utensil-storage rack is absolutely more useful than we expected - it removes many large things that essentially take up a whole row on the top drawer. We're constantly amazed at how many dishes we can fit into this as compared to other dishwashers. Also worth nothing - The stainless interior is beautiful, the bottom drawer is on a metal slider like a cabinet drawer would be (no annoying wheels that always come off the track)

We've had this dishwasher for a month. It's so quiet we sometimes have to double check to see that we started it. Luckily it has a cycle indicator light on the front. Everything has come out clean and dry even using the express wash cycle. And we love how smoothly the upper and lower racks glide. We are still getting used to the best place to fit all of our dishes but there are multiple configurations available with sliding and folding tines. Only draw back so far is height restrictions. Due to the third rack we cannot lower the top rack without it hitting dinner plates on the lower rack. The option to remove the third rack is available which would give you more height in the upper rack. All things considered it's a great dishwasher and we are very happy with it.

Our primary requirement for our new dishwasher was low decimal as possible as the dishwasher is located in an open great room. I didn't know much about dishwashers and trusted the Best Buy sales rep. Glad I did. We are very happy with our Kitchenaid purchase. So quiet and cleans excellent!

Well designed extremely quiet. Powefull. Dishes utensils come out spotless a lot of room. I highly recommend. I compared and researched many brands for the $ this is the best deal.

I love my new KitchenAid Dishwasher 24” Tall Tub, it is built very solid, you can feel it when you open the door. Very spacious and adjustable shelf, plus a third rack for cleaning larger knives and assorted servings untensils. Cleans dishes and drys very well! I would recommend to a friend!

This dishwasher does a decent job in the main. It is VERY quiet as a major plus. The two biggest negatives are that it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to see how much rinse aid is in the dispenser so you either run out (and have spotty dishes) or end up overfilling (and making a mess). The second negative (and the MAJOR one) is the "drying cycle". I debated between this and a fairly similar Bosch and bought this BECAUSE it had heated dry and the Bosch didn't. Well, it says it has heated dry, but it does a fairly awful job of drying dishes no matter what. At this point I SERIOUSLY regret not buying the Bosch instead. At least Bosch is honest about not having a dry cycle. (I've tried running this dishwasher with various load sizes and configurations of contents... it doesn't matter.... there's always water left on dishes on both top and bottom racks... the only rack that seems to have no trouble is the third rack at the very top... the one that holds only silverware). I've also tried different brands of dishwasher detergent and rinse aid... none of that gave me different results. Cleaning was decent, drying absolutely sucked.

It is extremely quiet. The only way to know it is on is by the lights! We didn't realize how bad our old dishwasher was until we saw how clean & dry everything was after the first load!!

Pro: efficient, works well (see qualifying note below), attractive; extremely quiet. Note on installation: we used Geek Squad to install the washer. Quick and professional installation. Only complaint was I noticed water sometimes coming thru the overflow valve atop the sink. Geek Squad was responsive and shortened a drain hose which they installed, which appears to have been the culprit. All is now woking as it should. cons: seems smaller than the one we replaced, probably because of the 3rd shelf. And items on the top/3rd shelf are not cleansed as well as the lower or middle rack. has slight, stale odor if we leave the washed dishes in the washer for more than a day

Compared to our old dishwasher (14 yrs. old) the Kitchen Aid is incredibly quiet. You literally have to look at the run light to see if it's operating. I can't say it cleans any better than our old Kenmore but the hope is that it is more efficient.

This is the Quietest dishwasher I have experienced. We like the utensil holder and the top rack for knives, etc. It does a very good job cleaning and doesn't leave spots even with very hard water in our area. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this dishwasher to other.

We had a great experience with customer service, and were in and out of the store quickly. The model we wanted was on display so we were able to touch it and check the construction quality. We ended up getting the best total price (purchase price plus installation) that was available in our area, with installation about a week sooner than the other stores. So far, so good with the dishwasher. It is extremely quiet so we can run it while in the kitchen. Our dishes come out sparkling clean every time. The only surprise is the length of the wash cycle, about 3 hours for all but the quick clean-up cycle

This dishwasher does a great job cleaning the dishes and is extremely quiet. The cycles take longer than older machines and it does not dry dishes very well. It gets hot on the inside, but the water does not evaporate.

The dishwasher is beyond quiet! I literally opened it to put something in and it was running. I was standing in front of it and I could not hear it! BTW it cleans great.

We replaced our old dishwasher with the KitchenAid and it works great. We like all the options available to tailor the wash to our needs. Proscrub feature works well to clean dried food from dishes. It is very quiet - much more quiet than our previous dishwasher.

1. Does not match my existing Kitchen Aid appliances 2. Large glasses do not fit in the glass tray due to 3rd shelf 3. Spreading silverware on top shelf is time consuming. It is faster to wash them by hand! If they aren't perfectly placed they don't get clean, especially spoons. 4. 6th months after purchase it stopped working. 5. Buttons on top are difficult to press - half the time the dishwasher doesn't even start 7. On a positive note, it is very quiet... so quiet that we can't tell it has started (but half the time it doesn't even start). 6. Customer service for the repair is terrible. We've been in an automated loop for almost an hour. At this point I don't even care that I have warranty. Who is going to refund the lost time i will have for the next week for handing washing dishes for a family of 5? Not to mention taking time off work twice for the repairman who inevitably have to order a part. I invested in a $1,200 dishwasher because i wanted it to WORK! I absolutely hate this dishwasher and am seriously reconsidering an investment in remodeling my kitchen with new Kitchen Aid appliances. If you are going to market high-end appliances then they should jolly well PERFORM!!!!!!!

This is the first dishwasher we have purchased in the past 20 years and there are a tremendous amount of options out there! After mold building up in our 15+ year old unit, having a stainless steel interior was a priority! The adjustable middle rack is a wonderful feature since I can now avoid hand-washing larger plates. The third top rack has been an unforeseen bonus for wooden spoons and our small glass bowls that previously got tossed around the dishwasher. I have only used this unit on the regular cycle, but even without the recommended drying aid, or rinsing the dishes first, the dishes have come sparkly clean with no water left on the dishes or the door. Of course, there is some water that settles on the curvature of the glasses and I have yet to see a dried-on guacamole bowl sitting for two days come clean on the first try, but I suppose I could actually rinse that off in the first place.
