Dishwasher is quiet and efficient. Love the 3rd rack for additional silverware or for drinking cup lids as well.

This dishwasher makes no noise at all. The only sound you will hear when it is running is the sound of water going down the drain. Still new, but so far the cleaning results are excellent. I an not rinsing the dishes before placing in the dishwasher and they are coming out spotless. I am using the recommended Cascade Platinum Detergent. I do wonder; is it the Dishwasher or the detergent that is giving me these great results. Regardless, very happy customer!

It was between this or a Bosch. The deciding factors were heated drying and the ball bearing sliders for the lower rack. Features otherwise were pretty close. The several loads I've done came out sparkling clean and dry. Unit is very quiet. I preferred the handle on the Bosch and that they didn't have a logo plate on front, but have gotten used to the Kitchen Aid handle's more 'butch' look. I'd prefer no logo plate, but that's a minor quibble.

This unit replaced a relatively new Kitchen Aid dishwasher that was very similar. Through the use of Best Buy's reward & financial incentive programs we were able to essentially buy the unit for less than $100. The new model is exceptionally quiet (it's nearly silent in operation). It does a very good job of cleaning and it makes a strong visual impression since the handles match our new Kitchen Aid refrigerator and combination oven-microwave.

We bought this instead of a bosche believing to get the same quality for a little bit cheaper. It is very quiet and we enjoy that very much. Nice product overall

With wheels in back was hard to get level during installation. Quiet and seems to do a good job cleaning.

I bought this Kitchenaid dishwasher to replace my 10 year old black Kitchenaid with stainless inside. This one does not dry as efficiently but is very smooth & quiet. Highly recommend.

It's replacing a 10-year old Kitchenaid dishwasher. It's a super quiet and efficient dishwasher with great features. We particularly love the 3rd tray which is very convenient.

Dishes have never been cleaner and the top flat rack rocks. we never use the silverware rack, we take it out and lay the silverware flat on the third rack.

Quietest dishwasher we've ever had. Sometimes we have to check to see if it is running. Looks great cleans dishes extremely well. Installers did a great job fast and courteous. Hope this machine holds up as well as the last one. If you have a dishwasher out in an area close to the family room etc where low noise is important it better to spend a few bucks more to get a low decibel machine.

This dishwasher is very quiet, so much so that it is hard to tell sometimes when it is running. It seems to do a decent job of cleaning the dishes, and has a lot of settings that can be used, depending on the size of the load and how dirty. It does seem to run for a long time, which is the trade-off for the quiet operation. I would say that it is definitely a quality product.

Quiet, really quiet, handsome, simple to use, easy to load excellent cleaning

I reviewed dishwashers and felt I would try kitchenaid over Bosch. I like the red accent on door handle. So far it cleans dishes well and is quiet. I think both Kitchenaide and Bosch are good but it is a matter of preference in styling. Also Kitchenaide quality looks sturdy with increased padding around the machine. Best Buy's Geeksquad did an excellent job in installation.

This dishwasher is great so far, and very very quiet! We sit in the next open room and cannot hear it. It cleans sparkly clean, so far I have no complaints. Most people don't like the handle, I didn't either, can't imagine why they would go back to a handle like this one. But the dishwasher itself outweighs the handle, and it does not get in the way, so buy the dishwasher!

Only negative was that the first unit was defective. Installed it and nothing. They replaced it quickly and we love the one that works. Third tray is a big deal. Quietest dishwasher I've ever not heard.
