If you are looking for a dishwasher that cleans REALLY well, you won't be disappointed with this one. Love the third, top rack for the flatware. Dishes come out clean and spotless. Have had it for a few months now and still excited each time I use it. So impressed. Had a Maytag and then a GE and they were horrible.

This dishwasher is so quiet and does a great job! We replaced a Samsung that continually had errors and this dishwasher runs like a champ. The installation instructions were wonderful and I had no problems installing it myself. There are tons of features and you can't even hear it running. Highly recommended!

Quiet and cleans well, dry cycle does not work well.

The biggest reason I wanted anew dishwasher is because of how loud my old one was. At times it would wake up my son. This model is almost silent. It is really worth the extra money. This model also cleans very well. Has a third rack and a great heating unit to ensure dry dishes when the cycle ends.

We love this dish washer! It is so quiet that we had to keep checking to make sure it was still running!

We replaced our GE Profile which was loud and stop working and we couldn't be happier with this purchase. Very quiet, cleans dishes great and well worth the price. Love the extra tray on top and easy to load and unload. Vince at Fort Collins had recommend this with our Stove and he has been spot on.

LOVE my dishwasher. I read many reviews before buying, so I knew there were some issues with drying. I experienced same uses, even with the heat dryer. I've thoroughly read the instructions/ recommendations... Kitchenaid insists that by using the rinse aid, dishes get dryer. I prefer to minimize chemicals; Cascade already has plenty. Instead, I place a small glass ramekin of white vinegar on the top shelf and this seems to do the job; I do use heat. I don't smell it on my dishes; I would think one wouldn't, anymore than you'd smell the rinse aid. Note, DON'T put vinegar in the rinse aid cup, it will ruin your plastic over time. Very Happy with the installations guys too!! So professional, quick, clean, and courteous. They were in and out in less than 45 min. This dishwasher is worth every penny. Others with decibels this low can't beat the price!

After reviewing many different dishwashers I chose the Kitchen Aid based on the cleaning and "advanced" drying system. Possibly I had unrealistic expectations but the fact is my glasses are still not dry at the the end of the cycle. Some of the dishes aren't getting dry and silverware too. In addition some of the silverware is not clean as well. I have not used the Power Scrub option but for basic cleaning after a meal I don't think silverware should need it.

Process: We looked long and hard for the right dishwasher to replace the one that literally went up in smoke. We were excited BB had a sale and the super excited when we found an open box in "Excellent". To make a long story short we got it home and it was damaged. We were bounced back and forth for hours but in the end, a kind manager did the right thing and we ended up getting a 'new' unit for $70 more than we paid for the Open Box unit. Helpful tip: fully inspect your open box items AT THE STORE! Product: We love this new dishwasher. Easy to install, super quiet and cleans 20 times better than the old one. We are only a month or two in but so far so good! Looks amazing and did I mention it how quiet is? I had to walk over and check it several times to make sure it was running and it was... 3 racks and the ProScrub is crazy, removed things I never thought it would. Wanted to give a 4 star rating but just cannot penalize the dishwasher because of a process/customer service snafu. so 5 it is.

We love this dishwasher. You don't even know it's on except for the little light in the corner. Perfectly quiet. Cleans like you would expect a KitchenAid product to do. The only thing that could make it better is if it had a grinder to eliminate the scraps the kids don't rinse off.....

Best feature is how quiet it is. Had to remove the 3rd special rack on top for knives and lower the upper rack so tall plastic cups would fit on upper rack. I hand wash specialty knives anyway. Haven't had any issues with cleaning, dishes come out spotless. I just can't believe how quiet it is.

This kitchaid dishwasher I have had got great rules from. It is very quite, I can barley hear it run. The power scrub setting makes it so there is no need for pre-washing which is really nice. I haven't had the dishwasher very long but so far it has been an excellent purchase.

You buy one of these every 20 years or so. I'm always surprised as to how many improvements are made in that time. This machine gets dishes and glass ware cleaner then I've ever seen before. It's so quiet that you have to check if it's really running. Nice Job Kitchen aid.

It is very very quiet dishwasher. The side rail for the bottom drawer is excellent

kitchen Aid dishwasher it is super quiet and really makes the dishes sparkle when they come out. The removable utensil basket is more sturdy than our last unit. And the sled top 3rd drawer although shallow helps add in odd long items, like knives and other silverware.

I am a mom of three young children and a wife to a messy husband. This dishwasher is a dream come true! Works perfectly! Easy to operate. Great hidden third rack for silverware or serving pieces. Easily adjustable rack too. This is a wonderful dishwasher!!

I previously had a whirlpool gold dishwasher that was showing it's age so I replaced it with this one. I ready all the great reviews but was concerned in general that my old trusty dish washer would just be superior in cleaning than anything I could buy today. I was wrong...this dish washer not only cleans the dishes better but also get's them dryer which I really didn't expect as it seems like most have taken a step back in that department. The noise difference while they are running is also huge, I can hardly tell this new one is running where as the old one was so loud we could barely watch tv while it was running. Even though the newer models might take longer I don't notice as I don't mind running it at anytime during the day since it's so quiet. I have not noticed it taking any longer than my older whirlpool though. I highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone who is searching.
