Quiet! Pretty LED lights and well crafted interior. Soft close drawers. What's not to like about the fridge. I understand it has 2 control boards as well which makes it more expensive but also less likely to malfunction. Got rid of my 10 yr old Kitchen Aid for this one. No complaints after 2 months of use.

This is an excellent refrigerator, but we expected nothing less given the reputation of the brand. We wanted one with a full-width refrigerator portion with either a single door or two-half (French) doors, and this has the latter. The freezer is below, and it is full-width as well with a couple of drawers in it as well. There are an extra two half-width refrigerated drawers for convenient storage of whatever you want to put there. We like them for quick-access to frequently-gotten things like cold cut meats and cheeses and fruits. We did not require drawers like this when we went looking for a new refrigerator, but we decided we wanted them once we saw them in the store, and we are very happy we bought a refrigerator that has them. The through-the-door service for ice and water works well. Whole cubes, crushed ice, and water can all be selected through the same dispenser. Connection of the water supply was fast and simple and was performed by the installers who delivered the refrigerator. Shelf arrangement inside the refrigerator can be adjusted many ways to suit your needs. There are both air and water filters that need to be changed about once every six months, and these are easy to get at inside the refrigerator portion. Overall, having the refrigerator for several weeks now, we’re very pleased.

    Truly awesome fridge

Great fridge, love the 5 doors. The design allows you to access any part of the fridge without opening both doors (as the interior drawers are the same half-width size as the exterior small doors). I also love how the ice maker is on the door as compared to in the main area...this makes the space much more useable. Why 4 stars instead of 5? We traded it out for the KitchenAid counterdepth fridge and the interior of the counterdepth was more smartly designed...and much more beautiful (gray interior, beautiful LED lights and woodgrain paneling!) The counterdepth uses the full left door for condiment/shelf storage whereas this 5 door only uses the lower half. The counterdepth also makes smaller ice cubes, which are very nice. To be fair, I would have given it a 5 star had I not done that swap-out. So, which is right for you? If you need every last bit of freezer space (i.e. you don't have a deep freeze), get the 5-door, because there is a little less in the counterdepth. If you need as much ice as possible, get the 5-door, because the counterdepth makes a little bit less. If you don't have those 2 needs, go with the counterdepth!

Pros: 1. My wife and I love the new design with 5 drawers. 2. Makes it easier to find items and sort. 3. We love the lighted adjustable shelves and the fact that this model has a platinum interior finish vs the normal white. 4. You can get water and ice with all doors but the top left door open, so no more waiting while others in frig or vice versa Cons: 1. not much room for tall items such as gallon milk, cola, etc. It only has one shelf that collapses. 2. Is only made as a full depth not counter depth.

    Horribly disappointed at every step

The Fridge: We were so excited for this fridge to be delivered. It is simply a beautiful piece of equipment looking at the store model. The fridge we received however was a picture of horribly quality assurance procedures and sub-standard materials being used. Definitely disappointed in the craftsmanship of this pricey fridge. 1. The doors of the fridge look like they were filled with too much insulation and never finished. (Picture attached) There is a gap in spots on the top of each door where you can see that the doors just aren't finished. 2. The middle drawer in freezer is cracked and when it opens and closes makes a horrible screeching sound. 3. There is scratches all over the plastic covers that go over the small area inside the fridge. 4. Random places inside the fridge you can see insulation coming out of the seams 5. Tiny dent on door (This could have happened in delivery however) 6. This fridge is loud! There is a series of hums, rattles, whirls and squeaks. Most that are listed in the manual as "normal and expected". 7. The crushed ice feature is horribly lacking. It is slow and seizes up after a few pieces of ice. You then have to dispense whole ice to correct it and start again for the same thing to happen. The delivery process: I didn't base my rating off of this portion but I felt it worth sharing. 1. A 12 hour window for delivery is horrendous to try to plan around. Our first appointment on Tuesday we weren't notified until 9:40PM on Monday night that someone would be out between 5-7PM on the delivery day. 2. They waited until 4:45PM on our delivery date to tell us they couldn't deliver on that day because it had rained. They said we would be added to the schedule on Wednesday and called with a new time. 3. On Wednesday we found out we were never rescheduled and now had to wait until Friday for someone to come out. 4. On Friday we got a call and was told they would be there between 10-10:30AM with our fridge. 5. At 1:47PM they showed up. They damaged our door jam on both sides. One with the fridge coming in and one side from the delivery person removing the bolt in the door to take it off the hinges. They told of us neither of these damaged areas and we found them right after they left. The resolution: Best Buy cannot deliver a replacement fridge for 3 1/2 weeks now. We had this option or be compensated to take the damaged one. The more we thought about it, the more we realized that the replacement fridge would likely have the same quality issues and will be cancelling our order today and asking for them to come and take this one back. Will start the process again to find a well-made, function filled fridge. One good note was the salesperson who while all of this was out of his control was kind and understanding and really tried to do everything they could to find us a resolution.

Love the look inside and out. Water dispenser drips a little longer after releasing glass( not a real big deal though) and the water filter at top takes up so much room had to drop first shelf to fit milk etc. overall really nice looking fridge with lots of compartments. Still trying to figure out what fits in the sliding panel ones. And lost some room due to water filter and slightly shorter than normal.

The refrigerator has a very nice layout that allows for excellent organization and easy access to different types of items. The unit has a great look both inside and out and is well lit. Functionally we like this refrigerator better than any other we have owned. There are three negatives. First, the levelers in the front are not built in to the castors. The Kenzie’s we replaced had castors that adjusted up and down very easily so that the fridge could be rolled in and out of its space once leveled. This mew fridge uses leveling feet that spin down next to the castors. This unfortunately requires someone to lift the front while leveling, unlike the Kenmore we replaced. Also, once leveled you cannot move the unit. The second negative is noise. This is a very noisy refrigerator. The compressor sounds like others once running but is extremely noisy when starting up. The ice and water dispensers are also very noisy. I have never heard such a loud water and ice dispenser. Third, the ice maker capacity is very small. It is intuitively engineered and takes little space which is nice. However, if you need ice for more than a few people don’t rely on this appliance.

Beautiful and spacious KitchenAid refrigerator. We have had for about a month and love it. No issues so far other than noticing a couple screws to adjust one of the smaller drawers was either stripped or broken. We are also waiting for us to become victims of Technical Service Pointer #W11092686E as we had a three door KitchenAid back in 2017 that repeatedly froze up/would not cool due to a poor design/location of the thermistor. I also didn't have a good experience with KitchenAid customer service with the other fridge. It was because of this that I wanted to go with Bosch but my wife prefers the look of KitchenAid appliances to others. Hopefully we can get 5-10 years out of it.

Pros: *Looks great. *Fridge drawers feel solid and smooth. *Lighting inside is very nice. *Adjustments are good. *Runs fairly quietly except for the icemaker Cons: *Front panel button arrangement is counterintuitive. It also feels very dated. *Ice maker is slow and loud. Ice dispensing is slow and loud. *The 2 extra drawers just seems a little silly and somewhat wasteful. *The strange sliding flat doors at the bottom also seem a little silly and not sure of their true purpose. *Freezer is dark inside, harder to see things *Freezer drawers are stiff and require more effort to open and close than I would like

    I Wish I Could Love This Fridge...But Can't

Have you ever wanted to give something a 5-star review but can't? Yep, this is an example. When this KitchenAid fridge works it is great. But I cannot tell you how much trouble it has been. Around a year in we started having various trouble, including the ice maker. Every time Best Buy sent out a crew for repair it got worse. 8 service calls and, after six months, it failed completely. It then took over a month to get BB to agree to replace the fridge. They brought it out and, within hours it was leaking all over the kitchen due to improper installation. It took two more service calls to get it fixed...(and BB was initially going to make us wait 8 days to come out and address the leak until I reached out to senior corp. management?). It's now working but occasionally makes the same grinding sound we noticed when the trouble started with the first fridge. I LOVE the design. The separate pull-out drawers are brilliant. But I can only say our experience with reliability has been lousy and service abysmal.

I am deeply disappointed with this fridge. It looks nice, Is a good size. However in the first month the ice maker stopped working. Then the freezer won’t maintain a proper temperature so ice and food is constantly in a thaw/freeze cycle. So I have this beautiful fridge that I can’t trust keeping very much in the freezer. And when I had a technician out to repair it. They put a thermometer in the freezer saw that at that moment it was at the right temp and rode off into the sunset.

    Best Fridge Ever

This is the best refrigerator I’ve owned. It is massive, and has storage for everything. The drawers are a great way to store items that are used often, and to separate raw meat from the rest of the contents. I no longer worry about cross contamination. The drawers in the freezer help organize contents, reducing the need to constantly dig to the bottom of the freezer to find what you are looking for. One word of caution, consider the depth of this refrigerator and how it will look in your kitchen. It is much deeper than most, and may extend beyond your counter more than you expect it to.

Had ordered a Samsung french door, it arrived and ice, water and interior light didn't work. After dealing with Samsung customer service and being very frustrated, decided to send back to Best Buy and get this beauty. So glad we did, very nice, roomy and everything works great!!! Now the whole kitchen is outfitted in Kitchen Aid

Worst Fridge - Don’t waste your money

I bought my fridge 2017. The first fridge had 12 service calls under warranty and eventually KitchenAid sent a new one! The second lasted for 4 yrs and 8 service calls. After ice maker, water dispenser, cooling system, electrical system and finally freezer not working I decided to buy an LG. The fridge looked cool but is soooooo bad!
