why sell as a bundle?

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not happy that if I already have a downdraft cooktop, and just want to replace cooktop, I have to purchase the whole bundle of cooktop and downdraft assembly even if I have exactly same assembly. that is so wasteful! After it was assembled, we had a home inspection done and inspectors comment was" cooktop knobs were crooked" they were definitely not how it shows in the product photo on the website. so either the installers messed up or we got a defective? piece. $2200 spent and not really satisfied with purchase. sorry, have to write bad review.

It is one of very few with a downdraft and 30 inch space. We didn't have to make any modifications and were able to install it ourselves. The fan is powerful. The burners light without any problem. The layout is an improvement over the old stove. We like that it appears all of the knobs are metal. Overall, very happy.

We are very pleased with this decision as the gas stove provides ample heat for our home cooking. The top burner is ideal for those dishes that requires high heat per recipe.

Fatal flaw sinks it

Could not boil water with the vent running, the vent pulled the flame too far over to be useful. I don't understand why this model is even sold, considering you couldn't cook spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner with this, at least not at the same time. Stylish, has some ability, but burners so weak it really ends up being more of a decorative piece. Thanks to BB for excellent customer service and letting me exchange it.
