So far this is a very good dishwasher its very quiet and cleans very well and looks great, I highly recomend it a little more expensive then some but well worth it!

I don't generate a lot of dishes to clean, but when I do they are several days dirty with dried on food, milk and sauces. No need to pre-rinse though. When you have a full machine simply start normal wash and after a very quiet operation you will notice, shiny clean dishes. I would hate to be dirty dishes if the heavy wash mode was used. In other words normal is all I have had to use thus far.

The dishwasher is what you expect; they're haven't been many advances in the field of automatic dishwashing. I can't complain, every dish, pot, pan, and piece of silverware come out sparkling clean, but your mileage may vary. I definitely recommend it, and while the control panel is located on the top sealed part of the dishwasher door for style, I would compromise a touch of beauty for a bit easier access.

So far this dishwasher has been reliable and quiet. It does a good job of cleaning and is OK at drying using the Rinse Aid. We have had no issues with the operation or racks as some have reported.

This Kitchenaid built-in dishwasher was an excellent value for the Best Buy sale price. Cleaning ability is great. Holds fourteen place settings. Sound proofing allows dishwasher to be operated while watching tv nearby. Overall, great buy.

Best dishwasher I have ever owned. It does a good job cleaning and drying the dishes and is very quite.

Do not buy KitchenAid dishwashers. They used to be a good brand, but have gone cheap on all parts. We purchased this dishwasher through BB in 2011, and we're on our third rack for the top section. The cheap plastic wheels on the support racks snap off. We've had the geek squad out three times, and are about to throw the towel in on this unit and go with another brand. It now making a lot of noise and the geek squad repairman here today said it's the motor (I guess he didn't see that last week when he came to check on the broken top rack, even though my wife said 'it's making a lot of noise). The soap tab now remains in the soap dispenser, half melted/used (the door opens to it). GS repairman said to just leave the tab in the bottom of the dishwasher, you don't need to door/dispenser... Would definitely not recommend KitchenAid dishwashers. Cheap junk.

We got this washer as a close out and it was missing the manual. However, it is so intuitive that we were able to operate without it. The main reason we chose it was the noise level. It is extremely quiet.

This unit replaced a higher end Kitchenaid model because this was the best direct replacement. The appearance is very nice, install was easy, performance is very good so far. The upper tray for glasses and small items is a bit loose and wobbly. I had the same issue with the previous model. The sliding mechanism and attachment technique is functional but not robust. Our previous unit had one of the plastic arms break, but it was after 8 years of use. The mechanism is the same for this unit. Otherwise, I like the look of the unit and the materials used are good quality.

SLEAK AND EASY TO USE AND WASHES GREAT AND IS VERY QUIET.

We got this as a replacement for a 8+ yr old white model that started leaking. Was able to get the floor model on a closeout special for $430, same price range as those with only stainless steel door.
