A couple things keep this coffee maker from being fantastic. For one, the clock seems to need to be pushed ahead every couple of weeks. It's digital and doesn't stay on time. My oven timer does a better job. Also, it is definitely on the bigger side especially if you have limited counter space. On the plus side, it does what it's supposed to do: makes great coffee once you get used to it. Way better than our old $15 Mr. Coffee.

True, I ordered online and didn't actually see/feel the product, but after I got it set up and started using the coffeemaker, I was totally disappointed in it. The first big negative was you must lift the lid over the basket to remove the grounds after you brew your coffee. The condensation from inside the lid drips on the top of the water reservoir and down the sides to the counter. I have a towel I must use to catch the dripping. The second negative: when you pour a cup, the coffee and condensation run down the pouring spout and down the side of the coffee mug and on the counter. Again, you have to mop up. This is a huge nuisance when you make 3 pots a day or more. It takes a while to determine the ratio of coffee to water when brewing, but I am happy with the flavor. A big plus is the "pause and serve" feature. A big negative is the warmer plate turns off after 2 hours (good) but you can't turn the warmer on later to reheat. I will still be looking for a better coffeemaker without the headaches!

I like how the coffee maker looks and its oval shape. The ability to remove the water fill tank is a very nice feature which is the reason I bought this coffee maker. The lids appear to be a bit flimsy. Condensation builds up under the lid of the coffee maker but if you leave the lid open when you're done drinking the coffee it dries out nicely. It does come with a coffee filter basket for those who don't want to use a paper filter. Works well. I like it!

This is our third kitchenaid coffee maker. They seem to last about 5 years or so each. We use ours twice a day at least. I like the removable water container best of all, no messy pouring into the top of the unit. We set the timer every day and wake up to fresh hot coffee. The unit will turn off after two hours, so no problem with burning up. Features are easy to use, easy to set and works like a champ. When this kitchenaid coffee maker wears out I'm sure we'll buy another.

The removable reservoir is a nice addition to an already solid performer. The program functions are easy to use. The only downside so far is that the lid over the coffee filter area does not seal tightly after the first use. This allows a lot of steam to escape from that area, so use under cabinets may be a problem. This is our second of this kind—this one replaced a prior model that had the same issue, so it’s a design flaw that Kitchenaid hasn’t fixed.

Awesome coffee maker! The carafe pours without putting coffee on the countertop, which is awesome. You can sneak a cup while it is brewing and there is no leakage. The temperature is hot and perfect. The bold setting on the coffee gets the full flavor out of the beans. Highly recommended.

All I expected very equipment I love all the kitchen aid products

Does the job. I recommend paper filters over the included screen filter which is more work to clean. A little inconvenient with the water reservoir in the back. My unit lives recessed under a kitchen cabinet. I slide it out to load. Coffee brews quickly and is kept good and hot by the built in heater. Overall a decent coffee maker.

We absolutely love this coffee maker it works perfectly and the water is so easy too add. We got tired of always waiting on our Kuerig so we replaced it with this and are so glad we did

This product is very good. Nice looking and well finished. It could have a heat off button.

Bought for the office and it has been great. Quick to brew and even has an alarm to let you know when done brewing. Detachable water tank makes less of a mess.

My mom has tried several brands and keeps coming back to the Kitchaid. We have limestone water so we go through them. She loves her Kitchenaid. Wished they lasted longer for her but she loves them so we buy them for her. Great product!!!

When I first got my new 12 cup KitchenAid Coffee Maker I thought wow it looks so cheap and why did they change things? Well let me tell you this is probably the best coffee maker I have had in a long time! The change in design of coffee basket makes sure the pot connects to start the drip process. The basket has a tab so you can see where to get the handles to lift it, the basket also has 2 tabs to help you place it properly. I love it!

I like the coffee maker, however it doesn't appear to have a removable coffee pot lid, I've tried emailing to find out but no answers and I don't want to force it and break it

I appreciate the simple instructions & the best brew of coffee. Easy to fill water tank.
