I am so in love with this toaster. It's very deep so even my waffles get all the way done without sticking out the top. It cooks very nice and evenly. Lots of different settings and even the lever goes up to remove smaller pieces easily. Great buy!

This is a very pretty toaster, but out of the 8 toasters I have purchased in the last 3 weeks, this is the worst of the bunch. Why can't they just make a toaster that toasts bread as well as has slots that are long enough for Orowheat bread? This toaster is lightweight, has a sturdy selection knob, the features are easy to read, the cancel button is very clear, the lever to lower the toast is made well, the crumb tray is easy to maneuver, and it has an area beneath the toaster to store the cord, and it cleans up very nice. However, none of these add to a toaster that even at the dark setting on the toaster the toaster doesn't TOAST!!! What a shame. It sure is pretty, but it doesn't do the one thing it is supposed to do - TOAST!!!

I purchased this toaster because I wanted a toaster small enough to keep in the cabinet but big enough to toast bagels. I really like the simplistic design of this KitchenAid, but it doesn't actually toast very well. I always have to run the toast through two cycles, as even on the darkest setting it won't get the toast brown. I also wanted a toaster that had a cord keeper. This one has an area underneath that you use to wrap up the cord, but you have to hold the toaster upside down in order to secure it. And even though there's a crumb tray, there are always tons of crumbs still inside. So when you turn it over, be ready for crumbs to drop out. Also, there's a portion of the cord (the plug) that hangs out, even when its wrapped up.
