It burns one side of the toast and barely browns the other side. I've tried different thicknesses of bread, types of bread, every setting combination possible and no difference. Maybe it's just this one toaster but how much does one need to spend just to get a decent piece of toast?

After researching this product online, I found that the thermostat is a repeated concern of many customers over the years. Yet still the thermostat fails to properly toast your bread no matter which setting you choose. It always takes two tries to get the toast even lightly browned.
