Good Toaster

Just noticed once that the toast was browner on the outside, the same for both slices. But most times it seems to toast evenly. Other than that this toaster does an excellent job. There is a single beep when the toast is done. Not annoying but seems unnecessary because if you're close enough to hear the beep then you're close enough to hear the toast pop up! But at least the single beep isn't annoying like I've read some other brands are.

Though I purchased this about 2 months ago, I have not really had a chance to use it until recently. We've been renovating our kitchen. We finally got our countertops installed so I decided to finally take it out the box. So far, looks great! Love the features...area to put extra cord away, pull out crumb tray, bagel and defrost features, and did I forget to mention it looks great?! I can't speak for it's durability but for it's features and looks, it's well priced. I've always owned a basic toaster. With our new kitchen we wanted our appliances to be just as nice but didn't want to overspend. I just don't see how other toasters can cost a lot more. Can't wait to try the bagel feature!

I like that it senses the frozen breads and toasts them fully and the bagel setting that only fully toasts the cut side. No mishaps or problems so far.

I bought it because of all the features and it looked great, so imagine my surprise when I went to use it today and it popped the GFI outlet. Thinking perhaps the problem was with the outlet, I tried using it on another outlet that is on a different circuit. Again, the GFI popped. Now I have a hardly-used, great-looking toaster that doesn't work. Am totally disappointed in this product and will not recommend.
