If I listened to all the problems people were having on these reviews I would have returned mine as well; however I knew enough to do the firmware update to correct all the problems that are being talked about. It's very simple to do ..instructions are on Klipsch website... .... Even crutchfield has this for sale on their site with headlines on the description that software firmware upgrade needs to be performed.. it's a shame that Klipsch released this without the update people don't know what they are missing ..sounds wonderful.

This 3.1 channel sound bar has the best sound quality compared to all other sound bars I’ve owned. The 8” subwoofer has outstanding low-end bass that other sound bars don’t come close to! It does a great job!

This sound bar has great sound quality from highs, mids to the great Klipsch lows. You can have this thing rumbling the room to not, using the night mode. Watching TV it has great sound and listening to music through Youtube or any other like service the music sounds great. I've had some type of Klipsch speaker in my home for over 30 years and I've never been disappointed with the sound quality. My first sound bar had a few issues and Klipsch costumer service was down right outstanding . The only reason I didn't give 5 stars has nothing to do with the sound, the sound is great ! I don't like that you can only see what mode the bar is in from the top of the bar. So if your sitting down watching TV you can't tell if its in night mode or if the surround is on. You have to walk over to the the sound bar and look at the very top of the bar. I can live this though cause the sound is so good.

    Klipsch Sound Compacted

Overall, was very impressed with the package Klipsch was offering with this soundbar. They weren't overly bright like typical Klipsch speakers and had an incredible amount of clarity. The bass was tight and deep and even got deeper than a 10'' Sony that was used in a home theater setup. Volume of the sub is almost nonexistent stock, so will take +4dB to show it's power. The only complaint I have with the sound is when the bass was past +6dB the fronts became really unbalanced, like if the EQ shifted down or something. I had two major functionality flaws with this soundbar and only one fixed with a firmware update (which was very frustrating to preform). The first issue was that after a prolonged pause like going to bed, the subwoofer would no longer function unless unplugged, even after repairing it. The blue light would show it was connected, but acted as if it was muted. It took a firmware update and a factory reset to fix this. The second issue was with the subwoofer spontaneously having a major audio sync delay (atleast 3 seconds) that wouldn't fix until I restarted the bar.

This sound bar has great sound when it's not shutting off or not responding. It gets annoying having to unplug it and plugging back in for it to work properly. For the price it shouldn't have the issues it has.

Got this to replace my traditional surround sound setup down in our living room. The setup was easy and to the point. So you know cause I went through it, the device does not work with any adapter. The HDMI needs to be plugged in directly into the HDMI ARC port. I thought I needed the adapter in case the cable got in the way of the wall mount (thankfully no i didn't need it). Once everything was plugged in, I turned everything on and worked as advertised. Sound is great and crisp and sub woofer was up and running. Tested with a few cable shows and few mins with a movie streaming from Netflix. Everything sounds great but I do miss the back speakers. See when the two back speakers are available I can them. I recommend this for those who want a better sound and not really want to run cables in or around the living room and of course have speakers all over the place.

Have had my Klipsch 48 soundbar for a few weeks. First, make sure you do the firmware download. Night and day difference! What can I say, clear dialog and very good sound for what it is. Great subwoofer support and everything just sounds natural and worlds better than the sound from a flat panel TV.

I have been a Klipsch fan in the past. I feel the quality over time has faded. One thing they did right was build a great subwoofer. One thing they did wrong is not give the sound bar the actual range it deserves. The maximum sound is unimpressive but it is clear none the less. Most sound bars today have some LED 8-bit type screen that lets you know the input you’re on, Klipsch is using the same type of system that my 5 year old Vizio soundbar uses which is a combination of string of lights. Seriously Klipsch? For the price I just returned it and went with the Samsung Q60 that’s partnered with Harmon & Kardon.

I've never heard of this company but figured I would give it a try since it sounded good in the store. Now, I've tried the JBL 3.1 with the 10 inch sub model JBLBAR31BLKAM and the Samsung 5.1 model Q60R. Both of those are very good so it's more about personal preference. Just FYI, I tested all 3 soundbars with the same scene from Avengers End Game so I can see how they handled it. The scene was at the end when Thanos blows up the Avengers facility. It has highs from the guns, explosions, and voices when they are yelling. Figured it would be a nice test. I like a well balanced sound and the JBL with the 10 inch sub was clear for vocals and the sub has some serious punch. We have tall ceilings in my house and our living room is very open so the soundbar sounded nice but lacked depth in its sound coming from the bar. It seemed like it was all "highs" coming from the bar. Now for the Samsung. It was really good at vocals and overall sound coming from the bar but the sub lacked in my opinion. I would have it almost turned all the way up on the sub to have it still not have the punch I was looking for. Plus on loud scenes like explosions when there are voices, the voices appeared a little muffled. The one I went with was the Klipsch. It can get loud with plenty of room at the top of the volume if you really want to that theater feel. Granted it is not a true surround sound so don't expect sound to magically come from behind you without extra speakers. I have the 8 inch sub almost turned all the way down and it is still very comfortable. But if I wanted too, i can crank it and it wouldn't have a problem. I hope this review helps in people's decisions.

Decent sound for a guy that can't afford the 5.1 surround yet. Then hi's are clear but not as rich in the mids and bass. It's great to add some volume to replace the subpar stock speakers from my TV.

The sound bar with the sub woofer as it comes out of the box has a lot of highs. I added a 12” sub that I had for another sound system and that helps even out the sound system.

Returned a Sony 2.1 soundbar and bought this instead. Simply amazing. The clarity is just unreal. Bass hits just right and the sound is room filling. We needed up going ahead and ordering the wireless rear speakers for this sound bar as well. The rears sound very good if the movie or show is actually mixed in 5.1. If it isn’t mixed that way then the rear sounds kind of low. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

It has great features, like dialog, which boosts the voices to make them very clear. The subwoofer was a bit difficult to set up and required a firmware update to actually connect (it's wireless so you can place it anywhere in the room), but with the firmware install and a reboot of both components, it worked fine. It sounds really good when you play something in HD that has music or just music. Generally, it was easy to set up and has a variety of connection types (HDMI ARC, Optical, or even 3.5mm plug).

When we were looking for a sound bar, we weren't sure about this company Klipsch. Never heard about them! But what a nice surprise. When we connected this up to our LG television it sounded great. Our living room is small but the sound is pretty amazing. It can fill the room. It was very easy to set up. The sub woofer really improves the deep performance. The one thing I notice is that you can hear the voices clearly with the sound bar. Consider this company's product is you're looking for a sound bar purchase.

This soundbar rocks for music and movies in digital format. Signal from Cox doesn't do the Klipsch justice. Music from my phone and blu-ray movies are incredible. The subwoofer is topnotch. Only two problems. A couple of times I've lost the TV sound and I had to reboot the soundbar to fix the problem. Could be that my TV is too old (8-year-old Sony Bravia LED). Other problem is that I've had off and on problems getting the soundbar to connect with my phone. Overall though I'm very pleased.
