This is my second set of of these. I have a the powered version that I run with my Custom PC, love these. I bought these to complement the sound on my AV system, the stock yamaha speakers were replaced with Klipsch and I won't go back. The sound has much more kick and depth. Find these on sale and you won't regret it. If you have the space get the Floor Standing speakers.

Using these as rear channels in a 7.1 surround system. Sound great and look great.

I had just started to build my surround sound system 4 months ago. For now I’m running 5.1 but will be upgrading very soon to the 7.1. Anyways these Klipsch speakers & it’s true sound audio acoustics are amazing. I have yet to hear a better sounding system in person. With my Pioneer – Elite 1260W 7.2 Ch. Model Number: SCLX501 and it’s continuous 100w power; these speakers will not distort under +15dB

I had to return these amazing speakers only because they are not as loud as my Klipsch 28's up front. I should have known better. I set them up as rear speakers with the Rocketfish wireless speaker kit (also amazing!) but the bookshelf speakers just could not keep up, so I returned them and bought 26's instead. These are still VERY good speakers, just not designed to be power houses in your living room.

I purchased these speakers during the Black Friday sale for $124.99, and I couldn't be happier. Firstly, the build quality is excellent-- each speaker feels very solid, and the brushed veneer looks great. They're actually fairly compact, too, and weren't obtrusive even in a medium-sized dorm room. As far as the sound is concerned, these are very bright, detailed speakers that produce clear mids and highs, with tight, punchy bass. As other users have noted, they can be somewhat harsh sounding initially, but after a little time to break in, they warm up nicely and are not fatiguing to listen to. These are also very efficient speakers, capable of eardrum-shattering sound without needing to crank your receiver up. These shine playing both music and movies, and can get surprisingly loud with zero distortion. The stereo imaging during Jurassic World's action scenes was superb, and they were able to create truly immersive movie experiences in a smaller ~200 sq. ft bedroom. They handle rock, hip-hop, classical, and jazz with ease, though I still recommend adding a subwoofer to your setup as these emphasize punchier midbass over deeper bass tones. Altogether, I'm very pleased with this purchase, and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of high-quality bookshelf speakers. I'm currently using these in a 6.1 setup with an older Onkyo home theater system, and plan on eventually upgrading the rest of the system to the Reference series as money permits.

These speakers are clear and have decent bass. I am happy with most Klipsch products.

Great sound and quality for the price! These speakers were an upgrade to an older surround sound system. The main unit of my surround sound system is over 10 years old, but still a high performing unit. Yet, the speakers were well past their prime. The Klipsch speaker technology brought my home theatre experience back to life!

First I got an awesome deal on these. One set was an open box with zero damage for $109.99, the second set was on sale for $124.99. When I plugged these in immediately even at low volume levels it was a huge difference in sound quality. When I cranked up the volume it was a delightful, crisp harmony. I really enjoy these speakers, now to finsh updating the rest of the system

Thiese speakers bring out so much different sounds. U hear everything so clear, sumtimes music in a commercial drowns out voices if volume to low. These speakers r a must buy.

Klipsch reputation speaks for itself these are amazing

Running sound through a Denon AVR 5.1 capable of 7.1. These speakers are on the floor on both sides of my couch. I know they're supposed to be at ear level, oh well. In either case the speakers are amazing. True theater surround sound. All my speakers are Klipsh speakers so this is a nice addition to an already awesome system. These speakers are worth the price when compared to the towers. I'm glad I made this purchase.
