Good sound even when used with a small amplifier. Impressed by the sound depth. Klipsch name tag on front of speaker fell off in first week of use.

These things rock! I have them hooked to a 5.1 yamaha receiver in the front with the 600's in the rear and the 34-c as the center. I mostly use it for music in my bedroom but great for TV as well.

Overall these are great speakers. The only issue I have is the finish isn’t the same as the tall piano black I’ve purchased. These are black but grain has a silverish tone to it.

The speakers, after about a month of use, had a great soundstage and excellent clarity. The speakers are well built and have a clean look. However, I did return them for the sound/treble was a little to bright for me.

I’m using these as rear surrounds in a 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos set up. They are powerful and pack quite a wallop!

    Excelleng Bookshelf Speaker

I have a pair of these book shelf speakers as my surround speakers. They pair nicely with the rest of my 5.1 surround sound setup and provide excellent sound when watching movies or listening to music. Initial setup is as easy as it gets. Plug your left and right audio wires into the back and you're done. You also have the option to bi-amp / bi-wire them if you'd like. The finish on them also brings a more professional feeling to the environment. For initial testing, I used them by themselves and played music through them. As a standalone set, they provide a nice dynamic range and you don't even need a subwoofer to make your music shine. They can get plenty loud without compromising music quality. I was able to turn them up as loud as I could handle and there was very little to no distortion coming out of these speakers. I'm honestly amazed at how well they sound as well as how loud they can get. After, I plugged them back in to my existing setup to use along side the other speakers as intended. While the difference was not as clear as when using them separately, it was still noticeable. While watching a movie, all the sound that was directed to these speakers came out crisp and clear, which is what you want from rear speakers. You want to feel the sound around you. If you're looking for a set of speakers that not only sound good by also look amazing, then these are for you. Whether you're looking to have a standalone set, or expanding your surround sound setup, these Klipsch Reference Premiere speakers will not disappoint.

These are some of the best speakers out there. You can power them on their own or include them in a larger setup. Just a heads up, they’re warm, and fun, hitting those mids and lows, very detailed and those highs it reachs can hurt if your sensitive.

These bookshelf speakers by Klipsch are the ultimate addition to my home theater set up. They are truly great at surrounding my listening area with amazing high quality sound and they also look beautiful. The piano gloss finish looks great in my home and they blend in very well. I combined this speaker with the reference premiere line up and I am very satisfied with the sound being produced while watching movies in 4k. I feel immersed in the movie and cannot get off the couch.

These speakers work great in a home theater and for hi-fi audio by themselves. I tried them in both applications for this review. I originally had them hooked up to my surround sound with the matching Klipsch towers, center, and Atmos surrounds. These output the rear channel perfectly. You can hear every minor surround detail. These work effortlessly. I feel the most bang for the buck is when used alone for stereo sound. I had them replace some old Bose bookshelf speakers in my "man cave". These sound so good, that I decided to leave them there rather than pair with the home theater. They have brilliant sound that fills the room and have crisp highs and nice steady lows. You can tell these speakers are of the highest quality and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a use for premium bookshelf speakers, make this pick.

I'm using these as side speakers in a Dolby Atmos 7.1 setup. When placed at ear level on stands, they provide the perfect elements as part of a larger setup. Given that they're being used as the side speakers, I've not been able to push their limits as there's not often loud output from the side channels. When there are effects, they're crisp and exactly what you'd expect from a high-quality reference model.

    Noticeable Difference in Sound Quality

    Posted .

I’ve been a fan of Klipsch for a while. When I originally started building my 7.1 system, I wasn’t able to afford the higher end Klipsch speakers and settled for Klipsch Energy speakers. Although they were clean and clear, they hold no comparison to the RP600M. These speakers make you want to watch movies and etc. Many will find the almost 700.00 dollar price tag a bit much, but these definitely warrant the price. When I upgrade, I decided to upgrade my center channel as well with the RP504C. The difference from my old Klipsch 25C is night and day. Please check out my review of the center channel as well.

Even though I don't have a bookshelf to put this in, on top of one of my other speakers, it sounds good! It's amazing how much sound comes out of this little speaker and how really good it sounds! I believe just two of these speakers will sound better than my soundbar and speakers I have now from another company! The quality of these speakers are amazing as well with the copper and then gorgeous gloss, 2 bad I can't give it more than five stars!

These are big speakers. Paired with the Yamaha S801. The RP-600m speakers are crisp, clear, deep, and loud as heck. Its the kind of sound where you feel like you're swallowing it through your ears. Was originally using my old Onkyo NR727 and 16 AWG wire to drive these (bi amp 2.1) and they sounded great but a bit hollow and under-powered. Upgraded to 12 AWG wire and they sounded a bit better. Upgraded to the Yamaha S801 Integrated AMP and what a difference! Make sure you have some quality juice to pump into these speakers or you'll be underwhelmed for the price.

These are definitely on the large size for a @bookshelf” style speaker, but the sound is definitely worth the space.
