Great small subwoofer for the price

My small subwoofer for my home TV/music system started to die. The manufacturer didn't make that model anymore and it was difficult to find a replacement subwoofer to fit in the small space. After researching, this Klipsch 10" was one of the few that would fit. But the small size is deceiving: it packs a big sound with very good sound quality. The adjustable Gain and Low Pass dials and option to switch to "auto" mode were big pluses.

Replaces an analog 10” Klipsch sub that died after 10+ years of daily use. It’s a decent mid priced option in the 10” class. Good response and clean sound. Needs a bit of a push to wake up sometimes, but that could just be my ancient Denon giving it a weak analog feed on startup. I’d buy it again, especially if it’s on sale.

This is my first subwoofer and it has added a lot of depth to audio. It is paired with KG5.5 and KG3.5 speakers. My concern about this model was the rated low end frequency. However, even though the rating is for 32 Hz on the low end doesn't mean you won't hear lower frequencies. It just means they won't be as loud. If you can find this subwoofer on sale, it's a great buy at Best Buy.

I bought this sub recently when it went 50% off. I needed another sub as i felt the deftech 8” sub i have is not enough. I initially place this klipsch sub at the back and I have noticed it sounds deeper and tighter than the deftech i owned. I switch it to the front and had the more expensive, in a wAy better looking deftech sub hiding in the back. Now my home theater is better and complete with this budget friendly sub woofer.

We purchased this speaker along with Klipsch center speaker and some smaller shelf speaker (and 2 towers) to go along with an LG OLED TV. The sounds associated with the 4k movies (as well as blu-ray and DVDs) is amazing. I purchased a complete 5 speaker Klipsch speaker and matched it a Sony Bravia about 8 years ago and thought that sound was great; but this new system is much better with the rich sounds coming from all speakers.

Fantastic subwoofer. I've driven this with a new a new Yamaha Aventage receiver and also with a 20 year old Yamaha HTR-5240 and in both cases, the sound from this subwoofer is crystal clear! Soooo much better than the fuzzy S*ny unit I had that burn out in less than two years. Now, every loudspeaker in my family room is Klipsch and everyone that comes over is amazed at the clarity of even the deepest tones. Highly recommended!

This woofer vastly improved our TV sound system. The old one rattled so we unplugged it. Don’t start turning knobs until you understand what each does and how the adjustment will effect sound. We followed the instructions, after reading them several times, for our size room and speaker placement. It works well. I’m pleased!

This is a subwoofer purchased by my parents. They bought it in order to replace an old, dead one. Their movies have never sounded better! It's almost a theater-type experience. (I also have to assume that it was very easy to install, because they never called me for help. Either that, or they hired someone to do it, but that must also have gone well because they haven't complained to me about him either lol)

The Klipisch R-100SW subwoofer adds great low frequencys to the manufacturer's recommended Klipsch R-51M Pair of bookshelf speakers. When combined with a good sterio receiver or network sterio receiver, the subwoofer and bookshelf pair produce crisp, undistorted sound, that no computer or smart speakers can match. That is why I bought a 3.1 Klipisch speaker system.

I had the Polk10 sub as my starter sub and just recently bought this on sale to go with the rest of my set. I definitely noticed a huge difference when everything on my shelves started to rattle with the explosion of a grenade in one of my games and the volume wasn't even up that loud at all. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their surround sound. Great price, great buy!

Excellent subwoofer especially for the price I paid! On sale as well as being an "open box-fair" item, made this a very cost efficient purchase. The bass produced is phenomenal in our medium sized living room. The gain was initially half up and immediately had to back it down to a little less than a quarter! Love it!

I had to upgrade my subwoofer, as my new Sony Receiver was not compatible with my old Onkyo subwoofer. I got this receiver on sale for $180, and I must say, this subwoofer definitely packs a good punch for the value. After hearing the Klipsch speakers and subwoofers in-store over the past year, you cannot go wrong with Klipsch products. When a good sale comes along, definitely pick up this Klipsch subwoofer!
