Very clean bass, wonderful size can store away nicely in my entertainment center when I'm not using. I'm in a condo and I'd recommend that if you're running a higher end receiver and have quality highs and mids you may want to make sure you've enough house to absorb the sound. I'm limited to day time music listening because it's very clear and powerful. Thx

I bought this subwoofer for my brother. I’m the HiFi nerd of the family and he told me his sound system was sounding terrible. His living room was a home theater nightmare, his speakers were inexpensive Polks, and his subwoofer was broken.
He had a $250 Yamaha receiver with YPAO so I hooked up the subwoofer, set the gain knob to to middle (clock position of 12), and the the low pass knob to maximum to let the receiver control it. After setting up the YPAO microphone in the listening position and running the program it reported that the subwoofer was too loud to be adjusted so I simply set the gain knob to clock position 8 and ran YPAO again with no error.
At this point I started playing music I knew and began lowering the sub gain even more from the receiver side of things until it “disappeared”.
The sound was incredible. The Polks that sounded thin and flat (in a bad way) opened up and the sub created magic. A lot of this was due to the YPAO capabilities of his inexpensive receiver but the subwoofer was wonderful and very well behaved.
I was really impressed with how clean and adjustable a $200 subwoofer could be!

Just got me some RP600 and the RP600C at another retailer on sale. And tried to run it with my old Yamaha Subwoofer that come with a full Home Theater setup I bought back in the late 2000s. Well of course it didn't handle a candle to it and just sounded like someone blowing air on my ears... Not sure how to explain properly. So decided to get myself another upgrade but 399 for a subwoofer just wasn't my cup of tea. My goal was to get a PB1000 Pro in due time but didn't want to spend the 499~599 right now either. Then I noticed that Amazon was selling it this sub on sale for 269 instead of 399. Contacted Best Buy and they priced match over web chat. Was so easy. Got matched, paid for it and picked it up at the store 30 minutes later. Was dam amazing. Once i got it plugged in and dialed in it was absolute blizz. Nice bass sound that sounds like its coming from the speakers and not some imaginary wind blower sitting beside you on the couch. Will upgrade on the future when we move out of our current tiny location but until then this sub is just amazing for the price I got it.

You “need” this. I’m sure there are better Klipsch subs but this one packs some nice deep bassy reverberations. For a 150-225 sq foot area this is more than adequate. If I had more space for my home theater I might have gone with a 12 or 15 but I’m more than happy with the 10”.

Many Manufacturers make subs... Klipsch has got it down pat... Right on the build, the sonic textures AND right on the price point... ( If you can buy a better sub at this price--- you better get it!) This checks all the boxes...

Have had around a month now. Was pretty easy to set up. Added this to our surround sound setup and it sure added some dynamic base, especially during high intensity scenes. Took a little time to balance the base with other speakers because the power of this unit can definitely blow you out of the room.
So far so good. Working as expected.

I matched this Klipsch subwoofer with Klipsch Heresy's.
After making a few adjustments this is a fine sounding addition to my 2.1 audio system.
Bass is clear with great definition and a perfect match for the Heresy.
It has ample power and the system more than fills the 12'X21" room it serves.

I recently replaced an older failing Boston Acoustics(BA) subwoofer that I thought sounded pretty good. However, this sub is WAY crisper and cleaner sounding. The bass hits harder and, I feel like I had been missing out on a lot using the BA sub.
Perfect for pairing with a sound bar or other home theatre system.

This subwoofer is powerful. I love this brand and all their products are amazing. This is no exception, the subwoofer adds great deep sound and bass to movies. I use it for music too and it enriches the experience, it only needs a little tweaking of the settings to make it perfect.

A great quality 10 inch subwoofer for the money. I have really enjoyed the tight base that this sub produces. I had a Polk audio 10 inch sub that was good, but failed after a number of years. I will have to say that the Klipsch R-100SW is better. Of course the Polk audio sub has a lower price tag.

Great bass for a great price. Works wonderfully to complete a 2.1 setup. Not too big but provides the just perfect kick needed from a proper subwoofer. No complaints. Plug and play and most importantly, listen. Best Buy has this woofer at $199 during sale times and it's too good to pass up.

Changed out floor speakers to ceiling and added this sub as a replacement for old sub needing the speaker replaced. Good quality, loud. New subs kind of pricey but this was on the more affordable end and worth it. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a new sub.

I bought this to replace an older subwoofer. The sound is clear and after you properly adjust it sounds great. This can make booming bass of you want it to but also can just perfectly compliment most systems. I have this paired with Bowers and Wilkins 686 S2 bookshelf speakers. The system is powered by a vintage Denon receiver from back when they made them great. Mostly listening to vinyl and this has been perfect. Bought it as a black Friday special at half off. I only compared it to one other sub in hike another Klipsch sub (8 inch). Huge difference between the two. The other one got returned. Hard to beat this sub in this price range. Not even sure you would get much more at subs twice the price.

I'll be honestly, not enough good can be found online about this subwoofer outside user reviews here or on crutchfield, ect. When I first wanted to buy a sub for my small HT setup I tried a few other brands first since everyone online said, "stay away from kilpsch". I ended up not being happy with any of the products I bought which were a lot more expensive than this subwoofer. Then, this went on sale and I decided to pick up two of them. I didn't expect much, I assumed I'd return them.
Boy was I wrong. These subs are great. While they may not extend down to 20hz flat or any of that great jazz.. I'm just a normal guy and I think these sound great. I use the for gaming and music. I'm sure one will do the job but my room is oddly shaped so having a second helps out with the phase. After setting these up, calibrating them on my receiver and then blending the signal with my current speakers (RP-5000F) they sound amazing. Also for a fraction of the price.

I bought this to replace a similar size, 100W Polk subwoofer. Those extra 50 watts make a big difference, this thing has a lot of power and has a good deep sound. I am able to get more bass than before at lower settings on the sub. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Love the klipsch line of speakers. This was an upgrade from older Klipsch subwoofer. Doesn’t disappoint, very good sound, looks well with my other speakers from Klipsch. Very good bass response, if you have the settings right not to booming. Good price on the black Friday sale

Got this to replace my 10 year old Polk subwoofer that went bad. This was the biggest sub that I could get that would fit into my built-in entertainment cabinet. It sounds better than the old Polk and can shake the house pretty well. Good price when you can get it on sale.

I'm a big fan of Klipsch and was looking for a small to medium subwoofer. Since I already had some Reference Bookshelf Speakers, it made sense to purchase a subwoofer from the same series. The only decision was the size - 10" vs. 12".
Base on the size of my room, I determined the 10" would work just fine. When I found out Best Buy was running a one-day sale on the exact model I wanted, I was thrilled at my fortune.
After getting the subwoofer placed in the right spot, hooking it up and getting it configured, I was blown away by the sound. When my wife asked about the boom in the other room, I knew I was golden.
I've always felt Klipsch's Cost vs. Quality levels were in balance, something not always found in other brand named speakers. I couldn't be happier with my Klipsch speakers and will be purchasing a center speaker from them in the near future.
