For the price you cannot go wrong with this sub. Installed a home theater and need to add some base. These did the trick.

I had a larger Klipsch sub from a few years back and this one sounds bigger and better in a smaller package, definite upgrade.

I shopped around for awhile looking for the best value in the lower price range of subwoofers. There were several that performed very similar to the Klipsch but was not very familiar with the brand name. I have some Klipsch towers I bought about twenty years ago that sound as good today as when I bought them. I'm banking on the same quality being in my new Klipsch subwoofer. I'm replacing my Velodyne subwoofer that costs twice what my Klipsch subwoofer cost and the Klipsch sounds many times better.

Provides powerful, clear low tones in our small home theater - good for the price and powerful for a 10” sub.

I play bass in a band and own an Ampeg with 10" speakers. They're the best for accuracy because they're agile, Larger speakers, especially 15" are more boomy (you may think that's a good thing, but what you really want is "punch") and muddy. If you want to move more air, just get more 10" speakers. Check out Sting's amp,, he's got 8 tens. Two tens have more surface area than a 15" and they're tighter. Most really good running backs are the smallest guys on the team. This Klipsch fills our 23'x15' living room w/8' ceilings, carpeted, drapes, etc. Volume 2 1/2 !! But the thing I like most is its low end frequency response. It goes right down to where only an alien could hear it. After seven months of ownership I still find myself letting out an audible "wow". I have it paired with Bose 301's and a Bose center spkr. My friends can't believe their ears when I crank up Paul Simon's Kodachrome or Call me Al. I had a 8" Velodyne until the foam ring deteriorated. I was going to have it re-coned because there's nothing like a Velodyne, until now. When I saw this on sale, I researched it and for 1/3 the price of the Velo., I decided to take a chance. Boy am I glad I did!!! Does anyone want to buy a used Velodyne?

Klipsch always delivers great sound. Subwoofer has a great kick without the booming distortion. This rocks the house yet keeps a clean tone.

I have owned Klipsch speakers for many years. I already had my center channel, 2 front surround towers and 2 rear surround towers. But I felt my system lacked the thundering background bass effects in modern block buster films. This speaker was an affordable addition to my, already high end surround system. It has added a fantastic new dimension to my extensive movie collection. I am very happy to have stayed in the Klipsch family.
