Seeing as I'm just getting into the speaker world I am very happy with this purchase. I have this subwoofer the Klipsch center speaker and four off brand speakers to complete the 5.1 surround. The base if powerful and adjusting the sub was simple. Watching movies and TV shows has been elevated to almost movie theater quality and I still need to add the towers. A good buy in my book.

Great low end base. Plenty of power to shake the house.

It’s hard to buy speakers these days because not many brick and mortar retailers have sound rooms available like the days of circuit city. I am somewhat snobby when it comes to music and movies and this sub made the cut for me I probably wouldn’t pay full price but the half off deal was worth it so I bought 2 of them along with 2 R-820F’s and R52C I have them in a large room 18x20 and music sounds good and punchy. Movies rumble and go deep. I am pleased with them considering they are lower end subs they were worth it for me.

Highly recommend. I have subs that are 3 times the cost and sound similar.

I have had this for almost three years now. Still LOVE it.. Clean clear bass that fills the room with a great vibe. Better than most bars and some parties I have been too.. Makes it very difficult to go out when the sound at home is so great.. Encourages me to party at home.. Not sure if my neighbors like it.

My first subwoofer I’m impressed this thing has more power then I need for my avr of 75 rms ,one thing I like is that I got the gain less then half power an it sounds great the bass is deep sounding I like music at low volumes an this sub sounds good even at a low volume . I do turn it up for movies and music still sounds good to me .this is my first active sub and I like it . I got it thinking I’d later in a few years upgrade to something better but after hearing it I’m sticking to it . I can’t say it’s the best because that I don’t know but I do think it would disappoint many people . JMO my reason for the four starts is because I have nothing to compare it to .

Excellent sound, clear as a movie theater. It goes off within minutes of having turned off the receiver. This Subwoofer makes the difference of sound and the best in price.

This is my 2nd 12" Klipsch sub. I bought one of these a year ago the r-120sw and when they went on sale I got the newest model the r-12sw, same thing. Sounds great, I hooked the first one to my 7.2 home theater system so I needed another sub for my stereo as I have a separate speaker system for that so I bought another Klipsch 12". It hits hard, I have it turned down so it doesn't drowned out the other speaker's.

I’m really enjoying my new subwoofer. Has a great sound. And really shakes my house. I highly recommended this subwoofer.

This speaker, was a major upgrade from the 12" Sony subwoofer, That I had. Nice sound, great bass and awesome looking.

Got this a week ago and it is amazing. It's a giant upgrade from my 8in Energy sub. Makes the whole first floor shake when watching a movie. No complaints yet.

Worth the money. You won't be disappointed with this sub. Hits hard with movies and nice deep bass with music. Not muddy. Very nice sub. Definitely recommend.

This sub is a beast! I originally planned for a dual sub setup. But this thing is more than enough for my home theater needs. It fills the room very nicely.

My second 12" sub, and wow is this thing a monster! In a good way, of course. My room is about 20' x 20' and this sub is probably too big... but the sound, and feel, is not restricted by silly things like walls and doorways. I just wish there was a remote to control the amount of bass because depending on the song, or style of music, or source of music, there's a need for more (or less).

This 12in subwoofer will shake the walls if you want it too. Has a great sound even in the mid range, the control knobs in the back make easy to tune.

Solid bass! Great sub for the price especially if you can get it half price. Klipsch always delivers great sound. I have a pair of these with a pair of the Klipsch R-620F Great combo for 2 channel stereo mode but also excellent for movies. Hits deep notes that shake the house.

I'm really liking this sub so far. Really clean tight sounding base. I've had several subs over the years. Ranging from 8" all the way up to 15" from several brands. They all thump and shake the room. I don't think I've ever had one I maxed out the gain on. Pure volume isn't a huge factor. But there is a huge difference in sound and feel. This one blends in perfect. It adds in the thumping and room shaking with out sounding to boomy for the lack of a better word. It reaches down pretty low. Love this sub! It really thumps, and is very clean doing so. So glade I went for the 12” over the 10”.

Has amazing deep bass and is made with klipsch best quality like always I have 2 of them in my home theater setup and they rock the house!

Bought this to replace the 100w sub that came with my home theater system. They had it half off.... so worth it. Easy set up. Sounds great
