This is an amazing film, my wife and I were blown away! I have to admit, this movie exceeded all of our expectations. It's kind of a mix between The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Day After Tomorrow, and 2012. The thing I love about apocalyptic films is that they're an eye-opening look at what COULD very well happen! A devastating end of the world event could be right around the corner, (Google 2012). The best part is the ending, (that I don't want to spoil), but it gives us a theoretical glimpse at how our civilization was started. This theory is based on actual facts, (Google Ancient Astronauts). This is a very good movie, brilliantly directed by Alex Proyas (I, Robot, The Crow, and Dark City). Nicholas Cage is at his best. I highly recommend this film!

This movie contained a wonderful blend of science, religion, horror and suspense. From the disturbed child scratching numbers into a basement door with bloody fingernails to the birth of a new "Adam and Eve" viewers are kept on the edge of their seat as they follow Nicholas Cage from one catastrophic accident to another. Although the begining converstion that Cage has with his son gives away the alien involvement, their intentions are not clear until colse to the end of the movie. Also, the vision of the forest burining, the discussion of sun flares interfearing with electronics, and the fact that his friend works in a space lab identifies the nature of the cataclysm early on to the observant viewer. Regardless, this movie is thought provoking, suspenseful, and highly entertaining.

This movie has a full action pack of many things. This movie is about this little girl and she would just write numbers and 50 years later this man finds it and has to solve what are these coding s mean? well the numbers stands for the day that people die and this girl is a freak show and know how many people are going to die and they must save the world and try to change it so that the people wouldn't die as fast as this girl planed so if you wish to purchase this movie you will regret because this is a action sad pack movie so i would buy it because just love them.

The graphics, acting, and storyline are all good. Overall I was schocked because I thought this movie would bomb. After watching the movie, overall, It was a good movie. This movie has a little bit of spook, drama, and action. I would surely reccomend this movie. The only downfall, in my opinion, was the ending. I feel like the ending left allot of unanswered questions, but you can fill in the blank with whatever you believe.

Great Sci-Fi movies with a nice twist at the end. I really don't understan why with the money the producers pour into one of these movies, they cannot insure that an accurate portrayal of advanced life saving techniques be made by a professional consultant. Other than that, I thought it was a really good movie and Nicholas Cage was fantastic as usual. I would recommend this film to anyone.

THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT FROM BEGGINING TO END-IT WAS SCARY AND SAD AND EXCITING.I LOVED IT-I WATCHED IT TWICE IN A ROW.IT HAS GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS ESPECIALLY ON BLUE RAY--ITS A VERY EXCITING MOVIE-I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

If you like Si-Fi disaster movies, then you will like this one. You do have to go with the idea that natural disasters can be predicted far in advance.

I don't want to ruin the movie for any that wants to see it... so: The movie was awesome. Lots of suspense, and a very interesting plot! Go out a watch KNOWING!

I think its one of nike cages best performances. The movie is very said and is also that can happen in real life.

I love this movie! I have seen it several times. 5 stars.

There are some mis-cues at the beginning of this film that have the potential to evolve into true suspense, but instead crudely devolve into a disappointing and unintelligent climax. There is sufficient good content for a second viewing, but unfortunately nothing outstanding. Enjoy the plane crash and subway crash. They are the highlights.

I liked the movie so I bought it. Had a good plot, good acting, and suspenseful.

You might want to rent this before you buy . When are they going to give Nicolas Cage a good role to play ? The concept of the Time Capsule was good , but ran out of steam half way throgh the movie .

Look, in today's economy I am trying to do my part and help anyone save $$ by avoiding this film. The 1st 1/2 hr is promising, but it WILL let you down! If you wanna see Nick Cage run around with the same, stupid look on his face for an hr and 21 mins, then be my guest. Cage will wear you out in about a 1/2 hr, and you'll wanna eject this disc and hurl it across your lawn before the awful ending! Very slow moving, tiring scenery ends the last 1/2 hr, challenging your patience and questioning your ability to select a decent flick. You'll regret it!
