Krampus is a real throwback to 80's horror, which I love. The cast is perfect and there are homages to classic Christmas films sprinkled throughout Krampus. There is minimal cgi and the creatures are made by weta (the same people who made the Lord of the Rings & Hobbit triologies). Krampus is a movie you can buy sight unseen and you will be surprised at how good it is!

Awesome Christmas tale that mixes National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Gremlins- to great effect! It ended up being extremely tense and violent compared to my expectations. However, if you're sensitive (or have youngsters), don't let that PG-13 fool you. Blu-ray features top notch Audio and Video, extremely interesting Special Features- but they run WAY too short. Still- Highly recommended.

Krampus is almost a great movie. It's dark, funny and makes great points about the commercial madness and sadness that Christmas has become. If you like Gremlins and Trick R Treat and dark holiday beauty, give this a shot. It drags a little but by the 2nd half of the movie, it picks up and becomes a ton of fun. The alternate ending is subtle. The AV quality and extras are all great.

This is a unique horror/comedy that tries to show the virtue of family during the holidays. The special effects are mainly practical instead of all CGI, which is nice to see and all the acting is as it should be. If you are in the mood for a Christmas movie with a horror twist which is still suitable for those 13 and over this is the movie to watch.

Krampus is a dark comedy very reminiscent of "Trick 'R Treat." It was well-acted with a unique Christmas plot. While it's not a typical "feel-good" Christmas movie, it provides an excellent lesson for those people who tend to be superficial and Scrooges during that time of year. The deleted scenes and alternate ending were also enjoyable and provided further insight into the characters and plot. Overall, it was an excellent movie that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Definitely one of the most underrated, overlooked films of last year...this is an incredibly fun movie that, in my opinion, is destined to become a cult classic. I could totally see myself watching this film every Christmas. Michael Doughtrey does an amazing job directing, and although I still like his first film Trick r' Treat a little more, this movie is still a really good time, and one that everyone needs to give a watch.

I thought that this was a great change from the typical Christmas movie. Creepy, and funny all in one. My only complaint was once we saw his "face." THAT utterly disappointed me after how good everything was. But, I will still watch again.

Well done story of a family whose not having the best Christmas. Both funny and heartfelt, but it is horror!

Sometimes Christmas is ruined because a kid throws a tantrum. This is that story. It's funny, has some bad endings for some and a surprising outcome.
