Being a horror movie fan that loves Christmas, I didn't care what any of the bad reviews said about this movie. I wanted to watch it, so I did, and no, it's not going to win any Academy Awards, but I loved it. Some parts are hilarious! Some of the dialogue is silly and cliche, but whatever. Next project is to create a Krampus bell to join my Christmas decor.

I just finally remembered to catch this movie in 21. Been around for a while, but they released a toy based on the movie (losely), and I was reignited in my interest flame. Picked it up for a great price on sale and loved it. ending might leave you pondering a couple of things, and the movie will have you engaged.

Sometimes the X-mas season can be overwhelming with all the joy and happiness in the air. Krampus offers a fun respite and a unique concept. I've seen a lot of Direct-to-video Krampus themed movies pop up in the wake of this film's release, but I don't think I'll be likely to bother with any of them, this will fill the niche just fine for my tastes.

First off, the movie itself is craptastic! Super campy and fun. I'm not sure what is different from the Naughty Cut and the original Theatrical Cut. The 4K resolution and HDR is great, but I'm a bit bummed that my PS5 won't display Dolby Vision so I'm just stuck with HDR10... *not a complaint of the UHD BluRay

While I haven't watched it since I bought it, I have seen it. What we have here is a movie in the Pumkinhead, Candyman (lightly, I suppose) vein. The Krampus is a creature that, if I remember correctly, basically comes and craps all over your Christmas if you are p'd at your family. And who don't get a wee upset with family during the holiday's?

This was definitely worth a look but I probably won’t watch it every year

I love horror and I love Christmas movies, so I was pretty stoked to have a new movie to add to my December rotation. I will say I was expecting a different tone, perhaps more humor, based on the cast, but once I got over that I dug the dark tone, the tension and the fx. If you think you'd be into a movie like this, it's worth a look at least.

I loved this movie when I saw it in theaters, and couldn't wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray. A great combination of Christmas comedy and horror -- two of my favorite genres. It's definitely more of an entertainment than an art piece, but if you're just looking to curl up on the couch and have a good time, this is a great film. Very funny, good comedic writing, and a great ending. I'll be adding this to the long list of movies I watch every holiday season!

First off, this movie is more of a dark comedy. It's Christmas themed, so there are some light/comedic moments throughout. Everything that's cute about Christmas is turned on it's ear in Krampus. I enjoyed the movie for what it was. This is a sub-genre that i find very entertaining (Christmas horror). Krampus was a great additon to my collection.

The Naughty Cut adds some very helpful character interaction serving to beef up the heartfelt element of the picture - if you're looking for guts 'n gore then this cut will not really do anything to satiate you. Also, the sound on this 4k disc is unreal!

I thought this was going to be a gory, violent Christmas movie but it wasn't. I was pleasantly surprised that it did its job at being a thriller/horror type of movie minus the gore and violence. This is actually okay for older children to watch I think. It could still give you nightmares but at least you won't picture a bloody mess.

Michael Dougherty is the writer/director who introduced us to "Sam" from the movie "Trick or Treat" and now he brings us KRAMPUS who is the anti-Santa. It is a light hearted horror story that not scary enough to garner an R rating but gives enough thrills to know that Krampus and his minions are not very nice. want to watch a good movie with a little horror and a little laughs, then this is the movie for you. Cant wait to see which holiday gets tackled next.

I had read decent reviews but based on trailers of inferior movies I was a little worried. My 12 yo daughter and I watched it and enjoyed it. It didn't go overboard and was spooky enough to keep us entertained.

The 4K release of this recent holiday “classic” looks and sounds GREAT, offers a nice collection of new interviews, and older behind-the-scenes featurettes and supplements. The Extended “Naughty” Cut doesn’t really add much though, and please note, the 98 minute theatrical version is NOT included.

I could not find this movie in blu ray at any of the usual stores and happen to come across it at Best Buy while shopping and just had to buy it for myself lol. It’s a great Christmas movie too contrary to belief but after watching an episode of the TV show GRIMM Where Krampus was explained as a Brothers Grimm fable I really wanted to see the movie and so glad I added it to my collection!!! And for less than 10 bucks too

I wanted to see this movie when it was announced, because it seemed like a fun idea to do a horror Christmas movie. The final nail in the coffin making it a must see was it was by the same person behind Trick or Treat, one of the best horror movies ever. It had silly overtones that you could only expect a horror film based on Christmas would contain and shockingly amazing effects! I definitely recommend if you are a fan of the genre.

From the first previews it looked scary. Later ones showed more of a scary/comedy theme. After watching it I actually enjoyed it. It had a few good scary moments but a few laughs too. I'd watch it again. Kinda reminds me of the movie Gremlins back in the 80s ...not to scary but with some comedy thrown in.

Never been a fan of Christmas movies, and tired of people always saying that Die Hard is the best/only Christmas movie to watch (I love the movie, but why only obsess during the holidays?). This one is wild and violent and funny and nothing else is like it, especially for a movie with a theme like this.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie from beginning to end. Characters are well written and don't act stupid for the sake of plot. Comedic timing is spot on with few bad jokes. And the creature designs and practical effects are amazing. Much better than most cgi movies of the past decade or so. It has a heart to it that pulls you in and makes you want to watch it again and again. Would recommend to any fan of horror/comedy or just comedy.

One of the family members is tired of all the sappy Christmas movies. Everything ends with everybody being happy and drinking egg nog. But this is not that movie. Not for kids, especially if you want them to ever be happy about Christmas. I thought it would be corny, it was a good scary movie that had original story.
