"Kundo" is a really great film. A sort of Korean version of the underdogs rising up to take a stand against the oppression of the times, with a bit of "taking from the rich and giving to the poor" thrown into the mix. It's a rather long movie, but one well worth it. With some really great martial arts set pieces thru out the film.

Has the elements of the Magnificent Seven and Robin Hood but from a Korean perspective which mirrors a lot of the Western and European themes. A lot of action and the characters are real in terms of their flaws and struggles and their choice to be selfless.

Korea puts out generally good period pieces, however the fight scenes are not always up to the standards of their Chinese counter parts. This movie delivered an interesting take on a Robin Hood style group with great fights and action.

good film with decent action sequences and story supports the film. not as much fighting as I anticipated, but enough to keep me watching till the end
