The movie captures the feel of Los Angeles in the 1950's. It is a very enjoyable movie, and as a result, I purchased the LA Noire game for my XBox player. Although unrelated, the two goes hand-in-hand if you enjoy the neo-noir detective.-crime stuff.

One of my favorite movies and one of the best ever on blu-ray at a great price. Great cast and great direction by Curtis Hanson; this one is a classic! Make sure you watch this one at least once in your life!

I picked this up because its a great movie and it was on sale. I don't think it will benefit much from the Blue-ray format but the sound quality may improve. What more could be said?

One of my favorites set in the 1940s this who done it will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the movie. It has a lot of twists and turns but this great cast will never make it boring.Kim basinger won best supporting actress for her roll.

after watching the movie i truly enjoyed it as the storyline was good, the acting was also good. additionally the action in the movie was fantastic and kept my interest through the entire movie. in closing most people would enjoying watching it.

This somehow eluded my radar when it was released in the 90's. A great cast and story now in a first class Blu ray transfer makes for a very enjoyable and gripping presentation. Highly recommended if you enjoy detective stories.

This is one of those rare great movies that is also an excellent film. Awesome cast and story backed up by excellent technical aspects that makes this period film believable. Loaded with special features.

This is the most under appreciated film of the 90's. One cop is the prince of Hollywood, another is earmarked for politics, and a third is a brutal enforcer. Together they will battle corruption in 50's LA.

I am normally not a fan of film noir, but this movie is the exception. Solid cast, acting, and a plot that'll make you not want to pause the movie at all. It's one of those "I can't wait to see what happens next" movies with a lot of good twists & turns. I can't really expand on that without giving away the plot. Watch this movie.

NEEDED BLU RAY UPDATE FOR MY LIBRARY. KIM DESRERVED THE OSCAR FOR HER PERFORMANCE. ALL ACTORS OUSTANDING. KEVIN SPACEYS DEATH SCENE ESPECIALLY EFFECTIVE.

I purchased this movie without having seen it before, purely based on recommendations. And I have to say it does not disappoint. It's a thrilling movie, with an excellent cast and colorful setting.

Great adaption of an interesting book. While you have probably seen this movie before buying the disc (considering how old it is), I still recommend getting this Blu-ray edition.

Without giving anything away; the file is definitely one for those that like a bit of suspense and plot twists. I enjoyed the story and there is a great group of actors in it as well.
