I had heard so much about this and I mostly knew it in name only. It wasn’t until this year that I decided to delve right in to what I knew was something great. Great isn’t even remotely close to describing this movie. This is a beautiful film, full of color, dance and song. A passionate yet mature love story that had not been told yet. I think this is a perfect film for all ages and what better way to discover a film than the Beautiful 4K steelbook. Quite easily on of my favorite movies to rewatch. Before this year I had never seen it, now i have watched it 5 times.

A very emotional movie with beautiful songs that sound great on these 4k discs with a good television. The discs have excellent image quality, and there are several languages to choose from. Best Buy's presentation is incredible, a collectible steelbook that is a must-have! Fast shipping, good price, excellent quality, everything is great.

Great movie. The cover art is just amazing . I’d give five stars but the 4k disc was lagging, glitching about 45 minutes into the movie. No scratches on disc so must be bad copy. Good thing digital came in clutch though.

WOW. This packaging rules. One of the coolest steelbooks I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t be happier with it.

La La Land comes to you in the form of a Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook and is presented on Blu-ray courtesy of Lionsgate Films with an AVC encoded 1080p transfer in the good old CinemaScope ratio of 2.55:1. Chazelle continues his retro tendencies by shooting on film, and with director of photography Linus Sandgren delivers a really gorgeous looking film which looks fantastic in high definition. This is a film full of the kind of bright colors and patently artificial lighting that were part and parcel of both the Freed unit and the Demy films, and this transfer preserves a really appealingly varied palette beautifully. The film tends to ping pong between naturally lit and/or graded material (as in the opening freeway number) and more "artistic" choices, as in some of the nighttime material or the big planetarium sequence. Detail levels are routinely high, especially in brighter lighting, as should be expected. While the nighttime and club scenes don't have quite the same detail levels, there's surprisingly good shadow detail and definition throughout these sequences as well. The transfer looks appealingly organic and encounters no compression issues. Wish it had the 4K Disc like Best Buy Canada but still a winner.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time !! Loved the experience and great joy I felt when I first saw it in theaters. I owned the Blu ray from way back in 2017 and have always wondered about the 4K transfer. Though the picture quality is noticeably brighter and there’s still a fair amount of grain to it, the 4K transfer was okay. About merely the same as the Blu ray quality. I am not bashing the film at all. The 4K HDR still looked vibrant and colorful when I watched it on my Sony X90J TV. The Dolby Atmos track to the disc was pretty good , but I noticed at about 1 hr 14 min mark when John Legend and the band performed “Start a Fire” the background sound and acoustics were very faint. That was the same thing I noticed on the Blu ray BUT it could just be my Dolby Atmos soundbar that’s the issue. Overall, love the film so much and enjoy it every time I watch it. The steelbook design is very colorful & it came with a digital code & Blu ray with special features on both discs.

I'd never thought I'll like a musical movie till I saw La La Land. Damien Chazzelle was a wonderful director and Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone were amazing in the movie. And the music is very catchy. Lionsgate once again with an awesome Steelbook. They never let you down with great artwork.

One part of the movie just had me frozen in complete awe my jaw just would not stay shut... I was not expecting that from Emma stone. A moment almost similar during a scene early in the movie from Ryan as well. Now I know why this won so many awards. I have so much more respect and love for the actors and actresses in this film. EMMA STONE RYAN GOSLING BRAVO. My Moms Black Friday purchase and no regrets.

I have loved this movie ever since I saw it in theaters, and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to own it! I am so happy that I went with the steelbook. This is one of the best looking steelbooks I own. A must have for any La La Land fan!

I strictly bought this for the SteelBook. I already own the movie on 4K, but I had to double-dip for this SteelBook. I’m certainly glad I did. Gorgeous looking steelbook and of course the movie looks great on this format.

I am so glad that this won an Oscar for best pic. The dancing was good, acting good, storyline good. Too bad not many people saw it at the theater. I definitely advise people to add this to your DVD library. You won't be sorry.

One of the most beautiful steelbooks I've ever seen! The movie itself looks fantastic as well with some of the most rich HDR colors I've yet seen on the format! Highly recommended!

Very nice steelbook. This has to be one of the coolest and best looking steelbooks ever made. Lions gate has definitely been steeping up their game.

La la land a very good musical with great chemistry among the actors, winner of six academy awards, a beauty the steelbook that should certainly not be missing in your collection.
