I brought this bottle to take to work and go on work trips and it has been great. It keeps my water cool for more than 24 hours. Actaully i put some ice cube in the bottle and it is still in the bottle now for 2 days. I am really impressed with the quality of the bottle. My favorite feature of the product is that it cleans the water every 2 hours and an added bonus, the bottle looks awesome. I definitely recommend this product.

I was a little skeptical at first, but having the water bottle for almost a month now I’m glad I have it! Please know that this bottle is a hefty one though, but it definitely makes it feel quality. I like having the peace of mind knowing my water is clean and knowing that it’ll actually taste fresh. It doesn’t have that same odd taste you get from regular water bottles. If you drink water a lot then I’d totally recommend this bottle especially for the peace of mind during these times.

well made water bottle, not sure if the uv light actually cleans the water. I also wish the cap had a usb-c instead of the old micro usb

Not worth rhe money, bottle doesn't do what it claims. I put faucet water in and went through all the steps. It was still the same tasting and smelling faucet water after i went through the process about 5 times.

This water bottle is quite the interesting gadget. I was intrigued by its claim to purify the water and of course had to try it out. I live in New Mexico and our tap water isn't the best tasting, so years ago we had a filtration system installed in our home. I decided to put this bottle to the test and see if it would change the taste of the tap water and I was pleasantly surprised. I filled it up (don't overfill, makes a big mess!) and tasted the water, then had my 12-year-old son taste as well. Of course we didn't like the taste, so we filled what we had drank and put the lid on, then I pressed the button to start the purification. The ring around the top breathes to let you know it's working, and I followed the instructions not to open while that ring is lit so I wouldn't interrupt the process. 60 seconds later the light went off and we took the lid off to taste the water again - we could tell a difference! The water before the process had seemed to be more dense and had a distinct taste, and it just didn't feel like it quenched my thirst. After the purification the water was crisp and felt almost like it was lighter, as though something heavy had been removed from it. It's hard to describe, but I have definitely noticed the same difference every time I have used the bottle. I work out of two offices and one only has tap water so this bottle has been a life saver there. One of my most favorite things is that it keeps water cool or cold for HOURS - the water that comes out of the tap isn't cold, but if you put it into a regular bottle it would warm up to room temperature or hotter if left to sit. Not in this bottle - it cools the temperature of the tap water and will keep it cool, even overnight. I am not a fan of lukewarm water so this was a very pleasant discovery for me. Two downsides - the bottle is quite heavy. I assume this is due to the purifier in the lid, but it also seems that the bottle itself is heavier, as though the material that it's made from is thicker. The other is that the bottle does not have a handle! I was so disappointed by that, because as heavy as it is the handle would be a great help. I put this bottle in the side pocket of my backpack when I go to work and I can definitely feel the weight, especially when it's full of water. It would be so much nicer if I could carry it with a handle and not put myself off balance with my backpack.

There isn't too much to say about this bottle other than great things. The build quality and design is fantastic. The battery life on the purifying cap is great and there is even an adventure mode to use if you need a little extra purification. Definitely recommend if you are looking to save waste on plastic bottle and also have safe, purified water.

Water bottles are everywhere today. Everyone is trying their very best to re-invent it, but few have succeeded like Larq has. This is a fantastic water bottle. It looks and feels great, has a great weight to it, and just screams quality at every turn. Add to it the fact that it self-cleans via UV light and they have, in fact, re-invented the water bottle. This thing keeps liquid cold FOREVER. It really is impressive. I don't know if the UV light does all it promises, but I can say that after a couple days of leaving water inside, the bottle smells fine inside. We are really impressed and very happy with this bottle.

I work in a hospital, and staying hydrated can be challenging in a day. So I've made it a daily goal to drink more water, rather than coffee throughout. There are hundreds of insulated water bottles/tumblers/cups to choose from. The LARQ isn't a 50+ oz monster, but that's ok. 25 oz is perfect for me to carry around, or leave in my backpack side pocket. It doesn't bulge out, and it doesn't weigh me down. Add in the UV cleaning that automatically purifies the water, and I've got peace of mind. It has multiple cycles, depending on how long and frequently you want the purification cycles to run, easily swapped by tapping the push button on the top of the cap. Yes there are several upon several other insulated bottles out there. Do i leave my bottle open and sitting out? No, nor do I leave my bottle unemptied for days upon days. Which means the UV purification may be overkill, but honestly, if it's the same price as other insulated bottles, I'd say it's worth it.

I think I love my water bottle. The LARQ water bottle is an amazingly simple concept that is long overdue. A thermal water bottle that utilizes UV light to "self clean" and "defunkify" itself. The UV-C light is in the cap and is rechargeable via USB cable. The UV light is activated by pressing the top of the cap, which is rubber coated. The light has 2 different settings which will stay lit for 1 or 3 minutes. A simple way to know it works is to smell the bottle. I know my water bottles used to get a moldy smell if just a few drops of water were left in the bottle between workouts. Even vinegar wouldn't completely eradicate the moldy smell. The LARQ UV-C light really does seem to work. No more stinky bottles. I love it!

Water tastes great! Just ordered a sleeve so I don’t drop and dent it…

I was excited to try this bottle and start reducing my plastic bottle use. Unfortunately, I can not recommend purchasing this product due to their harsh return policy. They only return unused bottles. I found that my bottle even after using it had a very odd smell and made the water taste like metal. Despite the claim that the bottle will not smell it does have a very horrible odor that does not go away once you use the cleaning light. The bottle is also very heavy. Overall, I was not impressed with the product and when I asked for a refund less than a week later they refused since I had used the product twice. This is an $85 mistake on my part, but wanted to share my experience so others to do make the same mistake I do.

A well made and nice looking bottle but the UVC is just a gimmick and adds no real fiction to the bottle.
