We had already purchased one of these and found it took care of a chilly corner of our family room so we decided to purchase another one for the kitchen. We found no noticeable increase in the electric bill since we use them as a supplement to our oil furnace.

The heater is definitely good and works well for my 10'X12' bedroom.The only thing that is particularly not great is the remote as its a small learning curve to make sure you have the temperature you need. The auto temperature control does a good job.

I'm very happy with my purchase. Using for a room that isn't heated and this warms up the room quickly. I can set the timer and not worry about turning it off, also when it gets to set temperature it stops.

I love the design and size. The heat should be felt in a larger area.

I purchased one three years ago that's still in perfect conditions with no issues whatsoever. When I needed a second unit I knew what exactly to buy.

This is my second attempt at buying a Lasko heater, my first was not so good. The 5591 was a fiasco. I switched up and tried this one as it was a bit cheaper. Much, much better experience. First, there is no assembly required and second, it works straight out of the box. The fan noise is acceptable. The remote has an LCD temp. display for the temp. you choose to set it to. It has provided adequate heat for my apartment living room so far with no problems.

I ordered one of these towers for my daughter. She loves it and it works well. My tower heater started dying, so I ordered another one for me. When it arrived, I could tell that it had been repackaged, like someone already returned this unit. The most disturbing part was when I turned the unit on its side, something was rattling inside the unit. I called Best Buy and was told to return it to a local store and they "should" be able to reship a unit to me. I hope that I get a brand new unit this time. I loved my old Lasko heater and had it for many years.

Love Lasko products. Bought this heater and was shipped to my house. Box was damaged and the inside of the heater had cracked plastic pieces. Worked fine, however, made a clicking noise so I returned and ordered another. The second one that shipped was actually in used condition! There were scrape marks all over it and a collection of thick dust on the vent on the bottom!! Looked like it had been heavily used!!! I was shocked! Called customer support and they told me to return to store. I returned with no problems, however, I find it extremely strange that BestBuy didn't look into this more for me. How did this product get through quality control!?!!?! I am still in shock. Better if you order from another place.
