After reading the initial reviews of this movie I thought it might be a bit of a turkey. However, I like these type of movies so I thought I would give it 15-20 minutes and see how it goes. Happily, it went well, I was hooked on the storyline and the acting. Clive Owen was fantastic as he usually is in these type of roles, Morgan Freeman, again one of his better movies, and the supporting cast all very well acted. The CGI was good but plot and acting outshone it, which is a really good thing in my opinion. I recommend this film to those people who like this genre. So please do not listen to the negative reviews to much, watch it for 15 minutes and then decide for yourself if it's for you.

A great film filled with intrigue and excitement!!

What a well-written script with a story line! It yanks at one's honor, values, and trust coupled with action and mystery. The valiant men of this movie stood for so much good and needed to eliminate the evil forces that were taking over. Was good to see the main character get his revenge after he suffered so much degradation (as it seemed losing his mind, wife, and soul). I bought two more copies (they were only about $5.99) and gave them to my children. Loved it!

Both Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman portray their roles as knights with passion and drama. The action scenes are well done and fun. My only regret was that there is a period mid-film where things become tedious as we watch Clive Owen brood over the death of his master and his role in that death.

I like to find movies you don't hear about or know anything about but, it has a star you like or a director you like. You take a chance and buy the movie and it surprizes by being even better than you expected. This is one of those and is well worth watching!

No new plot - good guys battle evil emperor and corrupt advisor. Morgan Freeman plays a moral noble who martyrs himself for his cause. His #1 knight (Clive Owen) takes up the sword to uphold the ideals of his master and his oath to his Order to avenge the death of his master - at his own hands. Despite the plot, it has a couple of surprising twists - Clive Owen's character's fall from grace and the ending.

Great actors in the movie Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman to name a few. They keep you involved in the movie. Good action scenes and surprises that I wasn’t expecting to enhance this movie. You will not be disappointed with this movie.

a reimaging of the 47 Ronin, set in a time of knights and honor. While the story is large it focused on the character played by Clive Owen. As he planned with his men the downfall of the scoundrel that betrayed and murdered their lord.

Saw this the first time on Netflix - happened to be scrolling through (last year some time) and saw Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman - figured I'd give it a go. It's incredible. I love all these medieval type movies, so it fits right in there and the ending?? Awesome! Can't give anything away, but truly worth watching at least once.

I am generally a fan of these period pieces taking us back to a simpler and differently civilized time. I also generally enjoy Morgan and Clive in pretty much anything, which helps bump up the rating a bit for this one.

I am not sure if this movie hit the theatres, but it certainly could have.. It revolves around the duties, given to a group of elite knights, who lived by a code non-existent in our society today.. Worth seeing.. C.

What can I say this is my kind of movie. I always watch movies to escape the boring everyday humdrum that is life and having Morgan Freeman and Clive Owen in the picture is always a plus. Get it ,watch it and enjoy

Good movie with some twists you will not expect. The plot was laid out very well, and it definitely is a methodical thriller. I think you'll like it because its a little bit different.

Last Knights is basically a direct-to-DVD riff of the Keanu Reeves blockbuster 47 Ronin, which was inspired by a true story and blended with the heavily fictionalized story-telling Japanese theater performances use. Last Knights, on the other hand, features very little fantastical elements, nor the sweeping scope and scale that made 47 Ronin so huge. The star power in Last Knights is solid, the action is stylish, and the production is impressive, but the movie isn't one that's very memorable. Still, for how cheap you can find it on blu-ray, it's worth watching and owning.

This was a good movie, I really enjoyed the movie. Both actors are some of my favorites. Wished it was available in 4K HDR.

Wasn't sure how good this movie was going to be before I watched it. While it casts some really good actors, I had never really heard of it before. However, this really turned out to be a great movie and if you're looking for a medieval actions flick, you should definitely check this one out.

This is a Great Movie and a Very good Price from Best Buy ! I LIKE TO DO BUSINESS WITH BEST BUY FOR THEIR PRICES AND AVAILABILITY AND ALSO BECAUSE OF THEIR REPUTATION ! I also like that they do price Matches with just about anybody ! I am also thinking about getting a Bigger TV Soon !

I didn't expect much from this film when I bought it. But I was impressed and if this type of movie is your thing I think you will enjoy it also. Just remember it is a low budget film!

This is kind of a cross between knights and samurai. I didn't think I would like it but watched it because of Morgan Freeman. But I did enjoy the movie. I was surprised, but it was pretty good.
