We continue in our adventure from season 1 with loads of action, special effects and fairly solid acting. The military has obviously put a lot of support into this series as many scenes are very well done and look real because....they are, the ships, uniforms, and science is well documented and this is a good basis for the series. The world was nearly killed off by a deadly virus, a cure was made but spreading it has been and continues (in season 2) to be difficult as well as some surprises, sorry but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone that is going to continue the series. The scenes are well directed and this leads to a immersive reality that you want in a good TV show. I would recommend this for anyone that enjoys good action, mixed with a plausible potential reality mixed with loads of military power. Don't forget to start with season 1 otherwise you maybe a bit lost, and some plot points won't make much sense. Season 3 is also available but hey, let get through 1 & 2 first. Enjoy and will see you next time.

After watching season one, I knew that season two will be just as good. Season two did not disappoint, I continue to enjoy the crew of Nathan James and follow their journey. The story and the cast is great as always and I seem to always stay up late watching more episodes and unable to turn off the DVD player.

Finally a T.V series about global catastrophe that ins't with zombies, monsters, aliens, ghosts, police detectives or supernatural forces..This series is based on the book by William Brinkley and Warner Bros/TNT delivered with this show. Great performances from Eric Dane, Adam Baldwin, Rhona Mitra and the newly arriving Alfre Woodward. In season two our group is working to disseminate the cure developed, while arriving back at The United States..Unfortunately there are new threats from the mysterious Immunes and a new world order lead by Granderson.. Great show check it out!!!

The Last Ship series is a great action show, featuring some seasoned actors and makes for easy viewing. The way the show is made gives you the feeling of the isolation the crew is feeling and given the fact they have used two currently operational U.S. Destroyers for filming the overall effect is quite a realistic feel to the show. Well put together action sequences with close ups of equipment in action. Overall a great show and I cannot wait for the new season.

Used to think that this scenario was too far fetched, but nowadays, anything is possible. Of course, very patriotic and take is US view. I would hope they would add some other services - Army, Marines, Air Force to the cast, while keeping the ship the focus. Like that that they added a new female lead "meagan ??" - from the Last Seeker. BluRay does so much better in picture and the sound on my system.

This second season pits the Captain of the Arley Burke class Destroyer against a formidable but crazy submarine Captain. Other challenges arise that the crew of the Nathan James must deal with all the while contending with the unseen threat that awaits them from the depths. Once again the cast of this series does an amazing job in this season. I again highly recommend watching this season. It will be worth your time.

The Last Ship Season 2 is a great continuation of the first season, which follows the crew of the U.S. Navy Destroyer Nathan James as they try to spread the cure for a virus that is decimating the globe. This season really ups the stakes as they face new threats. I would definitely recommend this season for those who enjoyed the first season.

The second season of the Last Ship does not disappoint. From the first episode to the last, is not only well written but very tense and exciting. I'm looking forward to Seasons 3 and 4 to see where the men and women of the USS Nathan James eventually conclude their mission.

If you followed season one you will have already rushed out to buy this second season... If you're new to The Last Ship grab your copies of both if you can find them on the shelf today - don't wait! The best Navy series EVER, it has it all, don't miss out watch it...

This series continues to blow me away! The cliffhangers are always engaging, and the acting is spot on! I recommend watching the first couple seasons before picking up this one, but the characters and their journeys are enthralling!

Season 1 was great and season 2 is just as good if not better. Once you get past the idea that the ship is not actually "the last ship" because there are others out there but this is the ship that the show follows and is looking for a cure. Gripping season all the way through and a good finale. Can't wait for season 3

This is one of the best shows on tv as far as i am concerned. The video transfer os just fine and the audio is better than i heard on my cable box. A definite guy show and good way to kill about 14 hours

We are so hooked on this series - it gets better ever season! We are now watching season 3 on TV but owning the first 2 seasons on DVD we can watch the episodes we forgot to record or didn't get recorded.

This show surpasses the first season by far . the first season was really good but this second season takes the show to a new level this is a surefire hit . if the network doesn't get lazy.

Second season of a. Lonely ship and crew combating a deadly virus. The acting is excellent, script and screen play are perfection. Season one was exciting, this season is a must-see .

Great show, awesome concept, outstanding actors and always a strong story. I have friends who love this show as well. Season 3 was not a let down, so buy it when the DVD is released.

SEASON TWO HAS MANY TWISTS AND TURNS BUT IS STILL ACTION PACKED! THIS SEASON IS DOING A GREAT JOB OF KEEPING THE ORIGINAL STORY LINE ALIVE. CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON THREE TO COME OUT!

This series does not let down. It picks up right where season 1 left off great action and drama. There are some great new villains also This show is a new favorite of mine.

This set includes the blurays and also the ultraviolet digital copy for online viewing and download. Season 2 keeps up the same pace and action we saw in Season 1.

The second season of The Last Ship picks up from where left in the first season. The action in this series is continuous and kept me on the edge of my seat. Especially the tactics used in by the Nathan James and it's crew in the defense of themselves.
