I have allergies, so I can’t mow the lawn. I thought this game would be me the fix I need. Unfortunately this game misses the mark. The game starts off slow while you learn the controls. The sounds are terrible and the graphics are poor, especially the grass. The grass looks like something on the PS2. This could have been so much more, but they blew it.

I first started out playing in free mode as I wanted to feel the game with no restrictions (damage, time, weather) and honestly the game is very boring. So I went into career mode, and it's still just as boring as free mode. The game has nothing going for it at all. You get on your lawnmower, start it up and mow a lawn that's it. There is no background music while playing the game so if you want music (as I listen to it when I mow for real) you will need to look elsewhere, all you hear are birds in the background. Then there are sound fx, which are pretty lame. The mower doesn't even sound right and weedwacker sound is even worse. When cutting the grass I feel the game could have made it look better from what was cut to what wasn't. You have to completely stop what you are doing, hold down L3 to enable you to see what you missed (which only lasts about 5 seconds). Then when you pick up grass clippings by hand, you literally have to look all the way down to be able to pick it up. Then you move 5 feet and do it again and again and again and again. They could have made this game alot better, and honestly it is more fun to cut the grass in real life than to play this game. I would say the game is worth $5, but no way is worth the $20 price tag, but that's just me.

This game is ridiculously engaging. It's mindless but entertaining at the same time. Perfect to play if you need to zone out and clear your mind.

This game is honestly a lot of fun. I enjoy that it's simple and very relaxing, which is what makes it fun for me. It might not be for everyone, but for me, I enjoy it a lot!
