Bought this for my 4.5 year old son. He has been using an ipad for educational games but wanted something sturdy that had some good options with less ads. This has been a great purchase! He loves the games, the camera and earning badges. He has really enjoyed taking a sense of pride for his set up, putting it away in itit's holder and zipping it shut! He loves the graphics and really enjoys the games. We have used many educational games and this system by far offers a great and fun option.

I am so happy I purchased this my son absolutely loves it and he's only two and understands how to use it I like that its not to complicated for his age group. And him being two I definitely bought the protection plan and it was super cheap oh even my six year old loves it lol a must have in my eyes

I bought one previously for my nephew. When they went on sale again, I bought another one for his brother. They love it and wants to play all the time.

My daughter is 5 I bought it for her to use , she likes it so far plays with it and keeps her entertained

My kids started with the Leap Pad 2 when they were around 4 years old, but when I needed to replace one for my son, who is now 6, he saw the Leapster GS and wanted that instead. I like that it is cheaper than the Leap Pad 2, and my son likes it more too.

Very sturdy, meets the level of a six year old. No need to worry about inappropriate content. Great learning device.

While this a Great learning toy the little ones had trouble keeping it away from the bigger ones.

The Leapster GS seemed good for my grandson, but after registering (in order to be able to download the 3 included apps) and attempting to download, only 2 of the 3 apps showed as installed on the unit. 3 calls to customer service, and 13 emails over 2 weeks failed to resolve the missing download issue. The customer service emails sent the same instructions 3 orr 4 times, even after being told that following the directions did not install the missing app. I returned it to Best Buy for a refund--I wish LeapFrog had ccustomer service half as good as Best Buy--if so, I might have a working unit for my grandson! (After all this, my grandson's mother mentioned her bad experience with the Leap Frog product family--last fall, going through 3 defective units and 2 defective power supplies before she returned her units.)

my son is 2 and doesnt know how to fully play it yet . its a good learning system .

This was a Christmas gift. It has more and better features than I expected.

My kid loves to play with this. This is excellent. Value for money.

I got this for my 4y/o nephew for Christmas and he loves it. Only downfall was no games or batteries come with it. Also you should buy the battery pack since kids will play this all of the time.

A very rugged and strong game. Resisted several drops and kids handling. Sadly not internet compatible
