The band I hand was no longer staying connected to the Fitbit. I went to purchase a black band. All colors sold out except a purple and a tan band. No color I would buy. I settled for the tan one. It doesn’t stay on the Fitbit either. So I have one side tan and the other black in order to wear it. (Love my Fitbit)

Not happy with the quality for the price paid. I've had 4 months and the sides of the band are black as if the leather wore off. The moveable band holder has stretched out so I am putting the excess band strap in multiple times a day

Despite reading a few reviews I decided to purchase the brown watch band, because I preferred a leather band to the type that was on it. The quality of the leather was extremely poor and in fact didn't even look like real leather. It was very thin, a weak looking brown color and upon finding out it could easily stain and become discolored, I promptly returned it the next day. It was simply not worth the $69.99 price Fit-bit was asking.

This band looks great, but for retail price, it does not hold up well over time. The band began to tear and wore out within only a few months.

I love my fit bit. I bought the "authentic" leather band. Best Buy only had a brown one in stock. It feels kinda of plastic like. And it picks up dirt and now a few weeks later is a combination of brown and stained. I'm used to good watch bands. It was not cheap at $60 and is not worth that. A problem area for fit bit. The alternatives on Amazon look even worse

Don't waste your time or money on Fitbit's leather band for the Charge 2. I have never owned a leather product that wasn't marked, "Genuine Leather". This is actually genuine fake leather. It looks like brown plastic. It's not nearly as rich looking as the original band. Definitely not worth the $69.99 price.

False advertisement states it's a leather band but it's plastic with the color brown of leather. The cost made one think it was leather but it wasn't

I bought this because it looked nicer than the standard band that fell apart after 8 months. This band lasted 6 months before falling apart and becoming useless.

Bought this band for my wife. She wore it only a couple weeks, daytime only, not to bed or in shower. While walking it just fell off.

Nice Looking Strap For Charge 2

    Posted .

The large brown leather strap for the Charge 2 is nice looking for office wear. Fitbit suggests avoiding getting it wet or sweaty, so it is not suitable for a hard workout or for a long July walk. It appears to be a thin layer of leather bonded over another material. It is very comfortable, doesn't irritate my wrist and doesn't slide around. You can clean it with a damp towel but it soon darkens along edges. The indigo version is sort of a denim/purple and is not overly feminine. Charge 2 straps last only six or eight months so I look for $25 sales.
