Needed a band for a Shine 2 - this says "SHINE" products - won't work for SHINE 2.

I wear the leather band with the Shine all the time. That way I am not out of the house and realize that I have forgotten my tracker.

One of the straps that hold the band after it is buckled broke off after a couple of wears.

The band was nice, but after opening the package and trying to put it on my Shine 2, I realized that it did not fit the Shine 2, so I returned it.

It's very manly looking! I would only recommend this for a guy.

This has a nice feel, but it's not practical if you are exercising and sweating, which will discolor the leather. Also, I wear my Misfit on one wrist, and my watch on the other. In the rubber band, it looks like a piece of unique jewelry. In this band, it looks too much like a watch, making it look like I'm wearing two watches.

There are a few third party versions of this band but this is the official band from Misfit Wearables. They also manufacture a pebbled leather band if that's more your style. I bought one of these for my wife as a gift about a year ago and it has held up fairly well. She does not wear it in this band every day however so I'm not sure how it would hold up through daily use. It's not the most expensive or strongest leather but it does improve the overall look of the Shine as compared to wearing the sports band that included with the Shine. If you wear the Shine on your wrist often, it is worth it to upgrade to this band or the metal mesh (again all about personal preference).

The device itself would get much less...I found it to be less accurate than the others and annoying to tell the time and such. Buuuuut it does look really nice.

Super comfortable, looks sharp. Much better than the silicon one my Shine came with.

I have used various wearable activity monitors in the last few years and I really like the Shine. I have used it for two weeks to track walking and sleep. I bought the black leather band for the Shine and it is very secure- plus it looks good! In fact, while wearing the Shine in the black leather band, no one noticed that it was my activity monitor-everyone assumed it was a cool watch. Since I like my black band so much, I just ordered the tan band so I can switch them to coordinate with what I'm wearing.

If you're a small woman, the size is fine. Anything else, and this will look foolish on your wrist. In addition, you simply jam your $100 in the plastic ring and hope it holds - no click, no clasp, so sense of security. To get it out, shove hard and hope it doesn't break or fly across the room.
