Don’t understand how this got really low reviews wasn’t that bad

Gave this to my grown son for Christmas and he was ecstatic. This was a great retro gift. He absolutely loved it. It also goes back to tell the whole story of how Leatherface became the monster he turned out to be.

Not a bad movie and waited for Best Buy to put it on sale.

Something to watch during the Halloween season or anytime.

This isn’t your traditional Texas Chainsaw film. So don’t go in expecting that. The film does take a different direction. It still is entertaining and still an option to check out. Lily Taylor was great as Verna Sawyer. She is honestly the biggest reason to Che I out the film.

A couple of jump scares and gore. Typical slasher film

Not a bad prequel to a motion picture released decades ago. “Leather face” was well casted & acted. Especially, for a period piece. The actors/actresses captured my attention as the events unfolded that lead up to “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”.

Good movie for horror movie lovers, i recommend it

I had to travel to find this movie, my local Store(s) were sold out the first week of release. I like the film l, it gave a good backstory to the beginning of the character. I recommend if your a fan of the franchise.

This is a breath of fresh air, it changes up the formula for a well-made, surprising TCM prequel. This film, the original, and the 2013 3D film work as kind of a quasi trilogy if you ignore the other movies.

I do hate the way they continue to try to milk money out of the Texas Chainsaw franchise when they really don't have any good stories to tell, but Im such a big fan that I still get enjoyment out of this stuff.

Prequels some are good others not so good I’ll give the movie the benefit that it’s definitely bloody and has those scenes but altogether this ranks probably lower than Matthew mcconaughey chainsaw flick

I'm a fan of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre but this is far from that classic however if you are into any horror this will fit the bill. It's ok but not great

If you are not a gore or blood type of person not a movie for you. Interesting movie and plot just very odd and I didnt really enjoy the end. But if you love scary movie it might be worth it.

Fairly good tale of the beginning of a classic horror icon. Has a good scary feel to it, fairly good performances. Whish there were more feature but has a descent making of documentary.
