Another great lego game to add to your collection. The graphics are great and so is the action. Controls are good, but I got used to the character change system of lego indi where you could change characters over a large distance, and playing lego starwars you have to be literaly right next to the character you want to change into. Nothing at all big its just that I got spoiled by lego indi, and yes I understand that in Indi the characters get separated alot so that is why the character change ability covers a greater distance. I would have given this game a 5 star rating but I felt they could have left out the last 3 movies and focust on the first three movies like phantum menace and revenge of the sith. Besides they already did the last three movies already. I think this is a good adition to anyones lego game collection.

This is my favorite game to play with my young children. I like the way the storyline is very close to the original, and it is very easy to play. My 5 year old had no trouble with it at all. Superb graphics and lots of content. A must have, especially for Star Wars fans.

Star Wars!

Lego Star Wars is an awesome game. Even though you may have played one or both of the other separate games this is still worth getting and playing. It has 120 playable characters and you play through each of the 6 episodes of the Star Wars Saga. There are 6 chapters in each level to make for 36 levels in all. Then you have all the bounty hunter missions and the secret little unlockable missions throughout the game. There is just so much to do. Also the achievements are totally different from the Lego Star Wars II game and are a lot more fun to get. My only gripe is that you can not receive the storyline achievements while playing as the co-op player, only player one gets them. (Example: Complete episode I: Phantom Menace is an achievement; you don't get that as player 2). However the other ones (example: kill 5 people with a saber slam) you can get as either player. You can also play this game online over x-box live co-op. That is a very nice feature.
Achievements for this game are fun to get and well worth the time. The only problem I have already mentioned.

Great Game for the Whole Family

The first game we got with our XBox 360 was Lego Indiana Jones. Since then, we've made sure to get Lego Batman and this one, Lego Star Wars Complete Saga. It's a very fun game, although sometimes (as with all puzzle games) it can be hard to figure out what to do next. Every member of my family enjoys it--you really can't go wrong with this game. And because you can play the story, then go back and play free play to try to find all the "pieces" you couldn't get without a certain character, the game really doesn't get boring (or finished too fast).

Lego Star Wars: the Complete Saga is a great game for anyone who is a family gamer or for any fan of the Star Wars universe. It is quite enjoyable despite its "childish appearance." The game does an accurate job of recreating the greatest moments in Star Wars. This would be a great way to spend quality time playing video games with younger gamers. The only drawback to this game is that it is basically a mash up of the previous two Lego Star Wars games. The additional content is good, and the game looks great in HD, but the new levels are probably not worth a purchase if you already own the previous game for another gaming system such as Gamecube or PS2. But, if you are looking for a great family game with a lot of replay value, Lego Star Wars: the Complete Saga is definitely worth looking into.

Fantastic Video Game!

This is one of the best games I've played in a long time. After being used to the blood and violence of many other video games, it was extremely fun to relax and play a video game where your enemies innocently fall apart into Lego pieces when they die. The game does not lack challenge, however, which I think provides a nice balance for the slightly older audience. If you've played the first two games, I wouldn't make this a top priority, as there isn't enough new material to make it worth your while; but if you haven't gotten a chance to experience the Lego Star Wars Universe, now's the time! Overall, a great game!

Xbox 360 offers very few kid games. This is one that my 8 year old plays often with her friends. It has fun grafics and each level has a challenging problem to solve at the end that exercises logic skills. It's a very fun and entertaining game. The characters do shoot lazer guns but there is no blood and the characters who are shot get up after being stunned for awhile. I would recommend this game. Its very age appropriate, no swear words and mimimal violence.

Awesome Game for Younger Children

My grandsons, ages 4 and 6, loved this game! The graphics are great and the characters are cute; its perfect for younger children. They were able to progress through the levels, which gave them a sense of achievement and confidence. It was also a lot of fun watching the game as a spectator. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and diversity of the game given its relatively low price. I highly recommend this game for younger children and would definitely purchase it again.

I really enjoy this game. I would recommend it to young and old. My girlfriend made fun of me for picking it up cause it was Lego but it is really the only game that follows the movie story line. The achievements that the 360 give makes this game a hightly replayable game. If you are a star wars fan or just want to get something for a fun pick this game up.

As a fan of both the star wars original triology and the prequels...i find this game to be fun and exciting as you can replay all the 6 movies...Each level can be unlocked and you can do free play so you can unlock the secrets! Best game i've bought since then.

Traveler's Tales 3rd proper LSW game is Saga, and it is essentially just a compilation of the first 2 LSW games. This is not a bad thing though, particularly if you have not already played the first 2 games. Saga offers a lot of bang for your buck, and it will take a long time to get everything. The game has a fun co-op mode, which can even be played online, a step up from previous games. This is also a good game for kids and parents to play together, as kids may need help on some parts. That said, I am a mid 20's gamer myself, and still enjoyed the game thoroughly. Some of your enjoyment may be based on how much you like Star Wars/Legos (the game can have a nice nostalgia factor), though if you are even thinking about this game, you probably already like both.

Lego Star Wars is a great game. It isn't very difficult, so it's easy to pick up and play, and the fact that you can play it with a friend makes it even better. The gameplay is that of a pretty straightforward brawler, but the added Lego element makes it too fun.

I really did love this game and enjoyed creating my own characters for free play mode but I have some issues. The first might be personal but though they are funny Lego games waste graphics a bit. Another problem I had was that some parts were really challenging and required lots of wasted time to figure out.

Great Addition to the Lego Series

This is a great Lego game. originally sold as two parts, they have combine parts I & II into the "Complete Saga". Nothing mind blowing or revolutionary here, but if you like the Lego collection of games (Batman, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Pirates etc.) you will like this game.
Star Wars Lego does not have the split screen functionality of the newer Lego games, which can be good or bad depending on how you play. If you are playing with another, in the newer Lego games you can go your own ways and the screen will split for both players, in this game, you have to stay relatively close to each other.
I have played every Lego game with my 8 year old son and find them to be a great way to bond. Star Wars Lego is more of the same. Like the Lego games, you'll like this one.

Since part II on XBOX i have loved this game. Now there is the complete saga, its just GREAT. The gameplay follows the storyline just great. If you are any type of Star Wars fanatic as I am, you will asolutely LOVE this game. You will have fun playing the single player just as much as playing online. The only drawback to the game is once ou complete the game you have the since of... WHAT NOW?!?!?!? You have all characters, extras and vehicles unlocked and the only thing left to do is play online or replay the entire game again.

Lego Star Wars is a game that anyone in the family can pick up and play. It's missions are not overly difficult, but the game can last for hours if you want to find all the secrets contained within all the levels. Co-op play is best and allows for many non-gamers to jump in without too much knowledge of gaming or the story and still have fun. I have spent countless hours playing this game with the gf and it ends up being fun for both of us.
