My son absolutely loves this game. First, he loves all the Lego video games (Batman, Marvel, Hobbit, etc...). I play this game with him when I can and I find it very fun. The thing I like about the Lego games is that even when the characters die off, the game continues as the character regenerates. For younger children this game can be played continuously without the feeling of utter failure when you cannot complete a level due to lack of lives. If you are into the movies the game follows the scene order very well, only adding in changes where needed to meet the flow of the video game. The controls are simple and pretty much follow the setup as all the other Lego games, so no learning curve if you played the other ones.

I purchased this game for my 12 yr old who enjoys the Hobbit movies. He was impressed with the way the game followed the movie plot and the free play that was available on the way to structured objectives. I like that he can play on the Wii U gamepad and I can watch another program, but I loved purchasing the game with the Best Buy's Price Match policy and saving money.

very fun game to play, get to build a lot of things

I have always been a big fan of the Lego video game products and this one does not disappoint. The Wii-U system is one of the best gaming devices out there and this game supports that device prominently. I can't imagine any more Lego ideas, but I still hope they keep them coming.

Bought this with / for my daughter from the "discount bin", not expecting too much, but now I'M the one taking over the Wii U console to play this. Obviously not for the "hardcore gamer", but entertaining for a middle-aged dad / overgrown kid.

Bought this game for my son. He loves all the Lego games because they are easy for him to pick up. He was able to pick this one up and play it right away. He also loves the fact that we can play co-op. Fun game and easy to play.

The wide use of varying characters makes this another fun Lego game. The only downside of this game is the building of mini kits during game play and there are a few game glitches. Overall a good game and fun for the whole family

My two older sons (8&9) love this game. They play it and the other lego game I bought em and constantly laugh when playing it. Even the 4 year old can play this one with them.

While nothing innovative in terms of gameplay for the Lego series this game offers a great Lego interpretation of the movies series and will be appreciated by any fan. Great for multiplayer too.

In true to form Lego exploration mechanics, the Lego team picks the Hobbit for the narrative. The graphics are good, the game mechanics effective and the soundtrack is solid. Well done!

Honestly anyone of the lego games can fall into this review. They are fun games especially if you are playing with someone else. Plus, you get the added bonus of the LOTRs universe!

Grandaughter really enjoyed playing this game. Has many twists and turns to keep the teens happy and adults will also enjoy.

With the launch of the iPhne 6, I decided to seize the opportunity to get a 64G iPhone 5s to fit into my small hands while they were still available, and as stocks were already vanishing Best Buy was the only place I was able to find them. Online purchasing was relatively easy, including interfacing with my wireless provider, thanks to clear step by step instructions that talked me through the process. No problems with the phone at all.

This video game is entertaining and hours of fun. My kids didn't want to put the controller down!!

A Fun game for everyone, especially my grandson who has not seen the Hobbit movies yet but loves Legos.

I got this for my 5 year old and new loves it, it's a great game to play together.
