bought this game for my son for christmas becasue he loves lord of the rings and it was a big hit.

Love this game!! Easy to play! Love that there are actual lines from the movie!

I am a huge fan of all the Lego games but Lego Lord of the Rings is my favorite by far! Not only can you follow the cute and quirky interpreted storyline of Lord of the Rings, but you also get to explore all of Middle Earth in Lego form, which uses beautiful graphics and amazing music to show you around the fantastic world created of Legos. It can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. There is talking, but everything has been made appropriate even for toddlers. Clean language, funny/cool cut-scenes, adorable lego figures of your favorite Lord of the Rings characters, including Tom Bombadil from the book!

Traveller's Tales games tried something new with their wildly successful series of LEGO games. They opted to give the characters speaking parts. In reality, they took samples from the Peter Jackson series of movies that this game is based on. While not a 100% copy, it does loosely follow the movies, which means the game loosely follows the books by JRR Tolkien. As with the previous LEGO titles, there is plenty of goofy antics and gameplay for gamers of all ages. If you've liked other LEGO titles by Traveller's Tales, you'll find this installment no less enjoyable.

LEGO Games are solid games, and inclusion of licensed music and sounds amps it up. Only shame is Pelenor Fields should've been longer level(s).

LEGO LORD OF THE RINGS IS A GREAT GAME. I COULD PLAY FOR HOURS.

If you enjoy any of the previous Lego games, this is no different. All Lego games are fun and this one is no exception, if you enjoyed LOTR than you are in for a treat, great game play, great graphics, I have nothing negative to say. My 6 & 7 year old's loved the DC Lego games and have only seen part of the LOTR movies but they were more than excited when playing this game. Can't wait for the Marvel version to come out.

Lego has done it again purchased for our 9 year old son; he has all of the Lego games to date. This was one we thought would be a drag because we skipped on this when it came out. We were wrong initially. It has been great.

Lego does it again with the Hobbit. I have all the lego games and, to be honest, my favorite is the Marvel superhero. This is a very close second and thoroughly enjoyable.

If you're not into Lord of the Rings then this game isn't for you. But if you (or the kids) like the series and also enjoy other Lego games this will not let you down.

Blink, 3 hours gone, blink blink, a week. Fun to watch the Lego movie. Easy enough to get through, but fun to enough to occupy the mind.

This game is fun for all ages! Easy but makes you think! If you like puzzle solving and playing with a friend this game is perfect.

This was a purchase for our family of 4 to play together. As a family game, all ages in our house enjoyed it, especially that we were actually playing the movie. What was difficult however was learning how to unlock (and play) many of the characters

My husband bought this for me for Mother's Day because he knows I am a Lord Of The Rings fan and I like Legos games and movies. I love how the game is pretty much the same as the movie AND THEY USE actually dialog from the movies, so you are hearing the original actors. It is a fun game and I am a 56 year old gamer and the game was very easy to pick up on. Mine is for the PS3.
