I wish it had a longer battery life, and was a lot smaller ,it is kind of bulky and heavy for the camera, it connects ok, and is easy to use

This battery works great and holds the charge for a long time.

Used this battery on 3 Canon HF 40 HD camcorders for a wedding this past weekend. One camera started with the bride at her hair appointment, and went through the ceremony. The other two started with the start of the ceremony, and were used through the reception at 9:30 pm that night. I did not change batteries or recharge any on any of the 3cameras. Great battery life. The down side, of course, is they take a long time to charge/recharge.

I do a lot of video in sometimes remote areas. It's great to know I have plenty of power for most of the day with this battery. Anyone who does video inside (weddings etc) or outside - needs reliable back up power. This battery is my reliable backup power. It has not failed me, nor do I expect it to.

I will admit that I was a bit skeptical about this product given the big price difference between this and the Cannon brand. After an initial problem (received a defective battery), I am very happy with this product. it does everything it should. Battery life is remarkably long.

I bought 5 of these. Only 3 of 5 worked at first, then after they were charged for a week, non of them worked! I even sent two back, got replacements and non of them worked either. Totally waisted my money!
