I had been looking a long time for a replacement battery for my aluminum unibody late 2008 model. Every where I looked there were details saying the battery would last over 8 hours and the price seemed just to good to be true (40s). After research and going over reviews, i decided to try a place more trusting. I went to BestBuy and saw the same battey for the same 3.5 hour charge life for a fraction of the original price. At Apple, the new battery would have been well over $140. For less than that, I was able to upgrade y RAM and buy the replacement battery which has been working exceptionally. The battery life is as promised (around 3hrs on full charge running wifi, mid screen light, chrome and preview. Al most 4 hours running dimmest setting and preview and chrome.) Initially it wouldn't charge, saying the battery was fully charged but reading less than 90%. But i had to just calibrate and everything was fine. I would go back and buy another when this needs to be replaced.

I needed to replace my Macbook battery, as my old one wouldn't hold a charge. This was at the right price point and exactly what I needed.

I love every thing about my family's Mac and I have not had many problems with it. The only problems I have had are our rabbit chewed the power cord twice (must taste good) and then after 5 years we needed a new battery. I suggest Macs and Apple products.
