Lenovo carries on the tradition from IBM and continues to put out great quality and variety of laptops with great reliability. This was on sale for really inexpensive and came with a bundle of Office 365, a Targus laptop sleeve, a SanDisk flash drive. Just the laptop on sale was worth it - the add ons give you everything you need - nothing else to buy. I did upgrade the memory from 4GB to 12GB - that makes it so much faster - and plan to put a SSD drive in the same storage size as the 1TB HDD to get even more speed out of the machine.

It's a good computer. I don't like the speakers, and the keybord feels cheap.. but for the price gets the job done.. fast and a lot of Hd space..

Bought this to have as a back up to my desk top computer...the processor is powerful enough to handle photoshop, office, etc. Battery life on standby is great, not so great if you are using it unplugged. Display is crisp, everything works as it should. Mousepad seems a little sensitive, but that might just be me.

Don't laugh -- this is my first laptop, and thus, this review is for less-experienced users. Fastest processor (compared to others in the same price range) and 1T hard drive -- only Lenovo offered this in "lower end" laptops. It's really at the low end of the high-end models. Lenovo was often recommended by friends and pc peeps. Nice big screen; touch pad mouse is so much easier to control than back in the day. Thought I might need to plug in a regular mouse, but I'll be fine. Love the speed. I'd have to nitpick to offer a complaint: the left click button is so smooth with the surface that I sometimes can't feel it without looking! Lol. If you're not a gamer or cg peep, you'll have more laptop than you'll ever need!

Laptop is fast for email, Office, internet research, price was great especially with free inclusions (Webroot, 1 year Microsoft Office, laptop bag, and flash drive). Would have gotten 5 stars if it had come with 8meg of memory instead of 4.

This laptop is a steal for the price. The screen is nice (although not the highest of resolutions), it fast, lightweight, and looks slick. I've had it a few weeks and really like it so far.

My salesperson was right ,I asked him what he would buy for basic use ,for mostly work,and some personal.This was a bundle deal that comes with 1 year office 365.and 1 year security package .8GB flash drive,so add it up and it was the best value for what I wanted to spend.I had to make sure tho ,by priceing it all out.

We purchased this laptop for my dad. He seems to really like it. It fast, has plenty of storage and such for his needs and seems to have a decent battery life. So if you want a decent laptop at an affordable price, this is the one for you.

Package price was awesome. The Lenovo Ideapad 100 computer meets my current needs, but was not as loaded as I had expected (missing fingerprint recognition, indicator lights, etc.). The Lenovo computer that we bought several years ago included such features. The power switch seems to be defective as the outer button has to be shifted around to contact the inner switch mechanism. Startup Manual did not list all features such as Wi-fi and only after startup did electronic manuals appear. The Webroot software was expected to be a 1 year subscription, but appears to only be a few months. The 4 GB of memory and the 1 TB hard drive, along with package price were main factors for purchase. I am old school, so learning more about this computer's capabilities daily. I will try to investigate future computers in advance, instead of buying last minute before the deal goes off sale, thirty minutes before store closing time!

Its just what I needed and its light too. The choice was easy, it was the best for the price received.

Compared to the price I paid, it is a great deal. i5 with that specs should be at least $100 more.

Overall I like this laptop. The operating speed is better than I expected and it transitions smoothly from one program to another. Having multiple Web pages or apps open at the same time doesn't seem to diminish the operating speed. The one downside I've noticed so far is the speakers. They are very weak and don't put out good sound quality. I have to use a speaker to enjoy music or watch videos.

Bought this to do work when had to leave town on an emergency without time to pack computer after learning I would be stuck for a week or so. For the price, a very good value. It was somewhat more difficult to initially set up in comparison to other computers I have owned. For the money, however, it does all one can expect.

Not a computer whiz, not a gamer, just needed to replace my 5 year old laptop that was on its last leg and having issues after the Windows 10 update. This is perfect for my use which is for emails, surfing the internet, bill pay, shopping, and the occasional movie (love that it can handle digital streaming and also has an optical drive.) Did NOT want a touchscreen since there is the occasional two-legged critter running around the house touching things and asking, "What's that?"... I deal with that enough at work with customers! Ten-key was also a must as I spent too much time as a bookkeeper: gotta have it. My bundle came with the sleeve, an SD card, and a year of Microsoft Office (which I also love that now I have opportunity to work on spreadsheets, and Word documents at home... not that I enjoy taking work home with me.) Love that I am not having issues with my wireless printing like my old laptop did - also like that I can pair my wireless earbuds and listen to music or movies while I cook or do work around the house. Does not heat up like my old laptop, and when the fan does come on, it is not even noticeable unless the room is completely quiet. Again, I cannot offer any of the computer jargon that many people use when writing their reviews, but can only say that I have not had any glitches with this thing whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who uses this as a computer... if anyone is looking to use it like a Playstation or XBox, sorry... can't help!

Lenovo has made changes to their laptops and they are better than earlier models. This unit has a plastic case and cannot take rough handling. It has an Intel processor which is fast and works great. I have had no problems yet. This unit was sold as a returned item, so got a great price.

The laptop has been great. It came with 1 year of Office, which along with the processor speed & hard drive size that was a good selling point for me. It's fast & I like the size of the hard drive for the price. My 2 kids (9 & 7) use it for online games & it's held up. The battery life is amazingly long, which is nice! I'm not a fan of Windows 10 which it comes with but the computer itself is a great deal. It meets all my expectations.
