I find that the way the computer is set up, it is a little awkward to get around. It took me a good half hour to figure out how to print something that I needed as I cold not find any print icon.

This Lenovo laptop comes with 8GB memory & 1TB hard drive. Comparable HP laptop selling at the same price comes with 4GB & 500GB hard drive. This Lenovo laptop comes with a lot more bloatwares than HP laptop. As soon as I powered it up, I immediately deleted Superfish. I also deleted Maxthon Web Browser which was developed by Maxthon of China. (I use Chrome, Firebox & Internet Explorer & dont care to have a 4th browser Maxthon.) Also deleted Lenovo Photo Master, Nitro Pro 9 etc. I will be deleting more of Lenovo's bloatwares once I can find time to see what they do. I dont care for Windows 8.1 but I won't blame Lenovo (or HP) because they only install Microsoft's Win8.1. I use the touchpad. Dont have room on my desk to add a mouse. Thx to Windows 8.1, my laptop sometimes zooms in & out by itself without me doing anything on my touchpad. This also happens with HP laptop. I took my Lenovo to Geek Squad. They tried to slow down the mouse speed but zooming in-and-out still happens sometimes. I googled this problem & there are other users (& some proposed solution) seeing the same problem. If anyone knows how to eliminate this problem, I will be glad to know! It is a minor irritation & I can put up with it in the meantime by hitting "control 0". Overall, it is OK to buy this laptop. I rate it average.

At first I was worried about the purchase of Lenovo product due to the fact that the first thing I had to do was remove a program that was associated with malware that Lenovo has factory installed on its laptop.Cause that's really what you want to do when you open up a box to a new toy,spend 20minutes re programming and removing unwanted programs you'll never use.Best Buys Geek Squad does offer to remove it for you,but who wants to wait for that.Its easy to remove yourself,even for a techno tard like me.Afte a month or so of usuage and being a first time user of windows 8, i really am starting to like this machine,getting easier to use everyday.Keyboard is a little different and takes some getting used to,mouse can get in the way when typing but thats just something to get used to.The most annoying thing is when the screen zoom in and out when im trying to to move the curser.I haven't figured it out yet I guess.That's so annoying.

This computer is awesome. Great price, memory, RAM, and it's very lightweight compared to my other laptop. The only thing this computer is missing is full on HD. Purchase this for my wife she uses it for school, movies, and photos and she loves it.

Three days and still learning what Windows 8 is all about , but everything is running smoothly. First time Lenovo buyer and am thoroughly impressed with their integrated features, but not so keen on the amount of prechosen apps that you see at first login. Great amount of storage and RAM for the price. Bluetooth works well, can't wait to see what other nifty additions I can find.

FAST ENOUGH, PLENTY OF MEMORY, LOTSA STORAGE. MOSTLY USED TO READ THE DAILY PAPER ON OUR 42" VIA HDMI CABLE, STREAM FROM AMAZON PRIME AND SURF FOR ELECTRONICS. BATTERY: SEEMS OK, CHARGE AT NIGHT, BATTERY ON DAY, MSGS TO ALERT FOR LOW BATTERY, TOO MUCH CHARGE.

I used to own a Compaq Presario CQ62, which broke on me after a few years. I'm hopeful that it won't happen to this one, and so far, so good! With Windows 8.1, it starts up a lot faster. I'm not a heavy gamer, but the few games I have perform flawlessly. Battery lasts approximately four hours with light use per charge on average. It does the job, and for $300 (I bought it on sale), I couldn't ask for a better deal!

I purchased this laptop so that I'd have something more portable for practicing building websites. It has everything I need and works like a charm. The keyboard and trackpad could be better; but, for the price, it's hard to complain. I really like that it has 1TB of HD space and the AMD works a lot faster than I expected (I'm an Intel guy). Anyway, if you're looking for a basic laptop that will allow you to play music with headphones (speakers aren't great) and get on the internet, this is a good little laptop.

This is the nicest laptop I have ever had. Lots of ram; lots of harddrive space. Fast. So far so good. Would recommend it to "normal" people. I haven't played any games on it.

This laptop is easy to get started with, and came with a lot of software already installed. There is some software I removed (Mcafee, and some utilities I don't need). For the price, it's plenty fast, and would be a good option for most users.

Great computer from Lenovo, solidly built, not very much bloatware installed, mute point really since I wiped it in favor of Windows 7 but great hardware and specs for a great price and Win 7 drivers ready to go!

This computer is great for managing a small business - running simple programs like Microsoft office and QuickBooks. Is fast and has a great memory capacity. Is exactly what I needed and the price was right!

My daughter needed a new laptop to get her the rest of the way through college. Did some research on this model, reviewed it with her, then we bought it. We are very impressed with the performance of the laptop - especially since she is using it in all of her physics classes, including programming. A really good laptop for the price!!

Does what it says and better,faster than expected. Had a month and no problems. Don't care for windows 8, but not too bad, just need to get used to. Great computer for the price.

Its a great product. It runs really smoothly even with moderately intensive gaming. Cons: Speakers are on the bottom and the trackpad does not always respond.

I had a Lenovo T-61 and this keyboard was too different. The computer came loaded with a lot of software that needed to be removed (aka junk). Plus China had malware loaded onto some (but not this model as far as I could see. Otherwise this seemed pretty fast and fine. It was larger than I thought, so hold it in person before buying. Nicely thin. Mine came with Windows 8, which I don't like but you might.

Full featured with good speed for a pad price. More RAM and HD than most in its class. I bought open box too. Arrived poorly packed but flawless untouched condition. (I bought an open box $2000 camera lens and it was perfectly packed)

Bought this for report writing and was totally surprised at the quality and speed of this laptop.

so far I like this laptop... seems pretty smooth operationally ... the only thing I don't care for is the way it's set up to show the home page with all the websites recommendations, but I'm sure over time I will figure out how to reset this feature. It's pretty fast considering and very sleek for the price point.
