purchased this laptop for great price, thanks to Best Buy's price matching guarantee. The laptop was basically pushed for "gamers" due to phenomenal processor and screen resolution with video card that was already installed in it. We wanted a Intel i7 due to the fact this was going to be a family computer and everybody had different needs and expectations from it. We opted for the bigger screen since my boyfriends daughter is starting to due her homework and assignments on computers now. We figured with a 15 inch screen, which was a lot cheaper, was going to get crowded with two heads in front of it and opted to get the 17 inch which we don't regret . The computer was equipped with the side numeric keyboard for easy data entry. It also came with windows 8, but since we were on the cusp of the introduction to Windows 10 we decided to make the move and update. Windows 10 is great with this computer! It introduced us to Cortana, who is basically your assistant and she will guide you through the easy of use to Windows 10. Also, the laptop came with a limited subscriptions to the two top antivirus companies Mcafee and Kaspersky. Since technically you are not suppose to use both antivirus software's at the same time we will use them as our free subscriptions run out. My friend who is an IT guy informed me that with Windows 10, he recommends that no outside antivirus is needed due to the fact Windows 10 and Microsoft has stepped up to the plate and are constantly updating their virus destinations EVERYDAY. Overall a great computer with enough ports, including an HDMI port...or as my boyfriend puts it, "Its a great big sexy computer with a huge keyboard and screen".
I would recommend this to a friend

I've wanted a 17" laptop for quite a while now and I'm very happy with this pc. The only issues I've seen with it are that the TouchPad is unresponsive at times, and the DVD tray feels lose and cheap. It isn't enough of an issue for me to send it back so I'll just end up dealing with it. Other than that, it is fast and the picture looks great.
