Having been a Dell person most of my life, I was a bit skeptical about going with Lenovo which is a brand I wasn't very familiar with. I read a lot of reviews and tried it at my local Best Buy. Everything I read was spot on! A powerful, Super Fast laptop with incredible graphics that exceeded my expectations. The price was also very competitive with other brands & models I think shouldn't even be mentioned in the same category. I LOVE this laptop!

The laptop is well made. The case is an aluminum/carbon composite material that feels sturdy and has a refined sleek look. Overall, the machine is very thin, but not that light, but that makes it feel sturdy. Lifting the screen to open the computer can be a bit tricky to get your fingers under to 'pry up' the screen. It's easy to get fingerprints all over the screen while doing this - I don't like to use the touchscreen for that reason. With the 16GB of RAM the computer boots up almost instantly. Haven't experienced any crashes or lagging whatsoever, but I do use fairly light applications. The keyboard seems a little off set to the left - my hands never seem to land in the correct home position until I make a conscious effort to make sure they're in the correct place. Also the right shift key is very far to the right and have to really extend my pinky finger to capitalize any letters from that side. Other than that, it's an excellent machine.

Great Laptop!. Light , Fast, and works well with all of the programs I need for my engineering courses.

Everything looks good to me , except the fan sound is loud when you run couple heavy programs. Anther things is the weird design in the 'Shift' button, I do not feel convenience when typing with it. Other than that, this is a good unit to buy.

This computer is an incredible deal for the price. The dedicated GPU and the 16GB of ram are amazing. My only complaint is that the fan is loud and runs ALL OF THE TIME. I've got used to it but it is annoying having the fan running in a meeting.

I was a windows 7 user and my beloved Laptop Hard drive crashed. Needed a new Laptop, tried a few and then saw the Lenovo. Great graphics and speed. You'll need an external optical drive if your going to store a lot of Stuff. The solid state drive is capable of 237 GB storage and my op-system and associated loaded programs take up about 116GB, leaving 120 GB free. Can't go wrong with this computer.

I loved my previous Yoga a great deal, so when it came time to buy a new computer, this one was pretty much a no brainer. A beautiful system, fast, compact and visually stunning, it works great for my multi-media design needs. That said, it has one VERY annoying Achilles heel: the position of the right hand shift button. It sits nestled in the crook of the direction keys so that the up arrow key is in the place normally reserved for "Shift." As a result, my typing speed has slowed down considerably as I unconsciously hit the "up" instead of the "shift" key, throwing my document into disarray (something that happened several times in this review alone). As a writer and UI designer, I really, REALLY want to slap the person who designed this keyboard. This may not be a problem for others, but it is currently driving me nuts...
