Not a computer nerd, but the processer seems pretty fast, the wi-fi seems to pick up pretty weak signals, the DVD drive works great, setup was fast and intuitive. Paid $320 for it, very pleased with its performance so far.

This laptop was cheap and surprisingly fast, I used it for a bit to edit some videos and work stuff. Would recommend this laptop for basic things and not serious video editing.

However, when I was typing I noticed the home button was sticking. Now I really can't use that one button. Not sure if I'm going to do a exchange over a button I barely use but it bothers me it got like this after one day. It could have been like that out of the box. I give this laptop 2 yrs of life tops. Buy warranty! (I would like to mentioned I just had to excahge a NEW TV that would not turn On to BestBuy, so maybe it's the store in Highland, IN that's the issue). Speed is good Graphics are good. DK about battery yet

Given your description of the issue with the Home Key on your IdeaPad 330-15, using a can of air to clean out the area under the troublesome key may solve the problem. If you don't have a can of air at home, we recommend you bring your Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15 in to your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad spray under the key area.

I brought an apple macbook for my wife's birthday but I hate apple products, so I stayed away from using it. As a Samsung fan, I wanted another Samsung but budget was too low. So I started looking for an interim laptop and got to understand that Lenovo is IBM and gave this computer a try. To cut story short, it was a BAM. It is performing behind my expectations, to the extent that I'm not thinking right now to go for my Samsung. I will use it for sometime before getting another Samsung laptop.

Although this is a bit big and heavy by today's standards, it's quite good for simple task like surfing the web, word processing, watching netflix videos, etc. Besides the dimensions, my three main complaints are that sound is quite low (speakers re located at the bottom), the hard drive is slow (so it may be worth replacing it with an SSD), and the keyboard is not backlit. One can't complain much though, this computer costed just $320 plus tax...
