This laptop is not too bad. It’s reliable, especially for the affordable price. The main gripe that my wife and I have with it is there is no noticeable way to turn off the trackpad. We use a wireless mouse and end up running into competing issues when the trackpad accidentally comes into play. Other than that, it runs great and the large screen size makes up for the small issues we run into.

I use this laptop at home and I take it with me for work. It's large and I appreciate the extra desktop space. I have a lot of apps open at the same time, mostly Word, Excel and Outlook. The processor and 8GB of memory is enough to keep up. I'm very happy with my purchase and this laptop does everything i need. Thanks.

For the price this is an excellent laptop, very fast and contains a lot space, able to connect to a 5G wireless network

This was lots of bang for the buck. Great value given a SSD. Light and slim. Desktop performance in a laptop.

I LOVE my new Lenovo laptop. I chose this one because it is NOT any of the big name brands. We have had those, and were never happy with them at all. They simply come with way too much downloaded, and don't work well after the first couple weeks. Our Lenovo is fast, easy to use, the display is great, sound is great, and we wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING else.

This is a great machine if you need a basic no frills internet laptop with a GIANT screen, that mostly wont leave your house. I bought for my mom, to watch her shows on, and stay connected. She loves it, and the price was right! I also updated the HD to SSD, its smoking fast now.

I have a MAC but needed a different computer to do medical billing on. This computer is HUGE at 17" but the price was great. It has a dvd/cd slot which is great to have for business purposes such as training etc. It has some speed in opening internet etc. I'm glad I got it.

This is a simple looking laptop, but with excellent features! The price is great, considering what this product delivers, which is simply outstanding! Speed, capacity, everything is neat about it. The brand is also trustworthy and it does not let down. I use it daily and I am happy with it.

I bought this computer for school for my son. It has everything we need. The speed is great. Not super fast but not slow either. We’ve had no issues with it. (8months) I’m very pleased with this purchase. It was the best bang for my buck.

I chose this large screen laptop because of my "over 40 eyesight", and the DVD player. However, it is very heavy -- I assume because of the DVD player. But it would rate a 5 star if it could be made a bit lighter weight and keep the DVD player.

So reasonably priced that I upgraded the HDD with an SSD. Boot times increased from 3 minutes to 15 seconds! The 8th generation Intel handles all tasks very well. Although not a gaming laptop, the integrated graphics card does handle some games without too much hesitation.

I was looking for a larger screened laptop, and this met my needs at a reasonable price point. It has sufficient memory, and operates as expected. The major weakness with this laptop is the battery life which drains relatively quickly compared to other laptops that I have had.

We picked this one up simply because of the price and size combination. For a large format screen it works great and has enough juice to power a second monitor and not slow down it is of course bulky so would suggest looking at it in person before purchase

Was looking for a laptop to replace my Asus that was becoming obsolete and couldn't be happier with this Lenovo. Screen is the perfect size for someone whose eyes have some age on them, like me. Love the feel of the keyboard and the mouse pad was easy to maneuver, which was challenging on all my prior laptops.

Bought to replace a 7 year old desktop that was slowing down , and could not handle any additional memory , super fast , downloads and price point was excellent , still new so hard to say if i could have problems going forward , but great so far .

I am a photographer. So I need my computer to be reasonably fast and be able to handle running software like Photoshop. I often have to multitask, so I needed it to be able to run Google Chrome and Photoshop at the same time. I was assured when I bought this computer that it would have no problem doing what I needed it to. Straight out of the box it took it about 5 minutes to turn on and get me to the home screen. I hoped that it was just startup that was slow, but it isn't. This computer has to "think" way too hard with only one program running. You can hear it and then it starts to get slower and then sometimes it will freeze. Occasionally if I wait long enough, 5-10 minutes, it will eventually process everything and start working again. Sometimes I have to restart it because it just freezes up. It seems to get slower the longer I use it and seeing as time is money in my profession, it is extremely frustrating. Everything is up to date, all scans have been run and everything checks out. Like I said, it had these issues right out if the box. The screen color is pretty off and had to be calibrated, but this is expected with most laptops. Overall, I would not buy this computer again, especially for what I paid for it. I would recommend it only to someone that wants if for browsing the internet or using Word. The charging cord is way too short and I don't like that it's not your typical charging port. Instead of being able to interchange cords, since I have several from other laptops, it has to have a specific one. This makes things difficult since my plugins aren't placed very close to my table. As a last note, I thought I could live with the touchpad not having actual separate buttons, but I hate it and use a wireless mouse.

Everything works superbly. Speed is quite good on routine internet chores. Personally I hate touchpads with no distinct buttons, but there is ample area below the "keyboard" area to mouse around on.The big screen is another plus for this machine.

Bought this computer to replace a Toshiba that had become technologically obsolete. I like the speed of boot up and processing programs. The screen size is great for me, because I use it more like a desk top than a lap top. I have a blue tooth mouse which works well. Think if you really need the optical drive or not. If I had to do it again, I would pass on it, as most info that comes as DVD is also on line and any back up can either be on thumb drives or the cloud. Windows 10 was surprisingly EASY to use.

Needed a simple to use computer for e-mails and photo storage. This computer turned out to be more than I expected in terms of ease of use, storage capacity and clarity of the screen. It's large screen size and balance of colors is excellent and the operating system is really fast.

So far very good product for the price . Windows with big functional display. Large keyboard with descent battery life. This is a short term review but appears to have a solid build and a plus of DVD / disc drive installed as well.
