The only feature missing was a webcam but I bought one for $12. which was much less costly then being contained within. I am responsible for not noticing, because it was stated in the specs as not being there. Otherwise has everything I need to get the job done...good speed.

I don't think many people buy these sizes anymore, but its nice to have when need. So far seems as thin as it could be, considering it has ethernet and dvd drive. BUT, the bezels!~~ The 330s (15 inch model) has super thin bezels. If this had thin bezels too, it would be nice.

This system ships with a 2CELL 30WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 5 hours depending on the work that the device is performing. To maximize battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

It's sleek, it doesn't run hot on your lap, the monitor is a great size for watching DVDs. Two criticisms would be that it doesn't seem to hold a charge very long even with just moderate usage, and the playback sound for music is just okay and doesn't get very loud. But I'm still happy with it,

If you are getting substantially less battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:

If there are no unwanted programs running, to maximize battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. With regard to audio, this system has stereo 1.5W speakers and Dolby Audio sound enhancement. Be sure the Dolby Audio is turned on and adjusted to your preferences.

So, you can pull your pictures off a CD or play a DVD, with out having to go out buy an additional accessory for you computer. It has big 17 inch screen so, it is easy to see everything. It has a bonus of a number key pad on the right hand side, it is convenient when you want to enter data. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Not sturdy but you just need to treat with some normal care. No backlight on keyboard. BUT solid performance at a super price.
