A 17 inch laptop with a gen 8 i5 intel cpu. for under 500 dollars. good deal

I purchased this laptop as a backup for when I need to work from home. I love the larger screen and the battery life is great as well. The only down fall that I have found so far is that with the larger screens, the keyboard almost seems lost on the base of the laptop. My wrists seem to activate the touchpad quite a bit. I just have to get used to it.

My "computer person" went shopping with me when I needed to replace my very slow, old laptop. I originally wanted a solid state but comparing prices and sizes and my use, we decided on the Lenovo 17". So far, it has met my needs just fine.

Great laptop. Nice big screen, not blurry looking, and rather speedy. Not real heavy for it's size, and it's thin. It has an optical drive so we can watch DVD movies on it. Plays all our POGO and Facebook games well, too. This is NOT a gaming laptop, but it will play games that can be played on pretty much any PC like Roblox, Minecraft, POGO, and Facebook games.

Big screen, fast core i5, plenty of ram, excellent price. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the awful spinning hard drive. Replaced it easily with an SSD and now it really speeds through any task. Wifey loves it and said she could never go back to a 15inch screen.

Given the price of this laptop, options and performance are very good.

I love how this large this laptop is, the screen is large enough to be able to see everything comfortably . The battery life is nice, it's perfect for browsing and playing some games, and the keyboard is pretty comfortable. My only complaint would be the arrow keys. For some reason, left and right are full sized while up and down are half sized. It basically makes it impossible to play any games with the arrow keys because of this.

Great portable computer with wide screen. Plenty of power even for rendering 3D, and even better because of the price. Battery last a good long time. Only negative is that I cannot seem to figure out the different gestures on the track pad. Clicking in the wrong spot. Overall a solid computer. I am very happy with this purchase.

Good value for the price. PC works well and is super fast if I am not running too many programs.

Laptop operates very well for the 3 weeks I've had it. Must let it update windows 10 completely though. I almost thought I was going to have to return it. Con - the only thing I have an issue with on this particular laptop is that the HOME, END, PGUP, PGDN keys are now associated with the function key and are located on the arrow keys instead. I would have preferred the Fn key between the rt Ctrl key and the arrow keys. neutral - The charging light doesn't not show when there is a full charge, only that the laptop is being charged (single white light, no other color indication)

Great computer for the price, easy startup. My first Lenovo computer l, so far so good.

This is my second one. After 6 months of using the original, I purchased a second one for home use. Both are still working well. It is not anything extraordinary, but it is a good solid computer with a larger screen so I can work on 2 docs at once.
