||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This PC is very user-friendly, seems pretty reliable, has a lot of nice features that I like such as touchscreen and an actual Disc drive, The only downside I would give it is it’s a little slower than I would like but that’s probably because I’m used to using PCs with a solid-state drive which it does not have.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre 520-24 All-In-One system. This is a fast configuration with its Quad-Core AMD A12-9720P processor, supported by 8GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. The convenience of not having several pieces of computer equipment to find storage space for has been a great plus. The monitor screen is very user friendly (touch screen), very clear and the size of the monitor has eased eye strain that I experienced with smaller monitors.

The salesman explained the differences between the Dell, HP, and the Lenovo. After talking with him, we chose it because of the features which were better than the other 2. And it was on sale, so we got an excellent desktop computer for the price. Would recommend it to everyone.

Love that everything is wireless will never go back to wires. Simple to set up. Down loaded pictures and files from my old computer onto a stick and the transfer was easy and I'd never done it before. You should be very happy with this computer.

Unit operation has been very good no real hangups in operation or software problems which can show up through updates or new software.

We recommend you check with the game/software publisher's web site, you use the most, for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration, before you invest in a new computer.

Nice big screen and plenty fast for her. Would give it 5 stars if it had an ssd which would help remove any slight delay because of hard drive access speeds.

Since it's Wi-Fi I run it off my modem (HughesNet with built in wireless) so the only cord is the power cord. Very nice tidy system. Can only think of two things that would make this a killer setup. First would be if it had Blue Tooth so I could run wireless speakers. I am usually streaming audio to listen to. And second it would be handy if some of the USB ports were in the front for convenience. It's somewhat of a pain to get behind the monitor each time I need to use my jump drive. Neither one would stop me from recommending or purchasing another one. Am not really crazy about Win10 but it's growing on me. I wanted it so I would become familiar with it, otherwise I would have been looking for something I could get Win7 Pro on.

If you need to move the USB ports, you may want to consider using a USB Hub with this device for better accessibility of the USB ports. With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.
