We purchased as an Open Box item from Best Buy and 15 days later, the wireless card was dead. Too late to return, and ended up waiting over 2 weeks for Lenovo to repair under warranty. While the home service was nice, we now aren't seeing the same performance out of it. Not sure if it's a Lenovo thing (first time owning), a repair thing, or an Open Box issue. Will rethink these in the future.

Lawnmower in your room

However, less than a day after buying I had to return this one. I'm not sure if mine was a defect but hearing from many other users, it sounds like a common issue. This thing is as loud as a lawnmower but worse because it's right next to you. I tried updating the bios, firmware, software, restarted, opened the case to check the fans. Nothing was wrong from what I saw. The actual computer ran smoothly going between web pages and loading standard applications with ease. But I could not stand that noise. Buy at your own risk and if you get the lawnmower, don't be surprised.

I sold a custom-built desktop and had planned on building another until I noticed this one on sale and couldn't beat the price! My only complaint would be the lack of an SSD, but I suppose it's easy enough to install one yourself if need be. I've played a few games on Steam and they ran quite smoothly. I'm confident that pretty much anybody will enjoy this system.
