This computer fulfills all my needs with power to spare, only issue is that I do not really like windows 10, but there is no options to use any other older windows version. other than that I would highly recommend this. Plus - Able to rotate screen like a tablet including touch screen, fast on , dolby digital sound. Minus - not many, only drawback is it is not the lightest laptop out there.

I picked this model out because it looked super sleek and the specs were pretty good. I wanted a different model but it was a bit more expensive than this one so I settled on this one. I got it home and excitedly turned it on. The first thing I see when Windows started up, before it is even fully set up, is an error message. It was a memory read error "memory cannot be read". I was able to skip passed the error message and the laptop seemed to work okay for the rest of the night. Then the next night when I went to open it, there was something wrong with the touch screen. I could see all of the little circles that you normally would see under your finger after you touch the touchscreen. It was like rapid fire registering false touches all over the screen so fast that I couldn't use the touchpad to select anything else to restart the pc. So I had to force shutdown with the power button, and the issue went away again until the final straw. I went to shut down the pc on the fifth night of ownership and all seemed well until about 20 seconds after I shut the case. Then something caused the fans to start pushing on overload, which caused me to open it back up and see whats happening. This time I wasn't able to use the keyboard to login. Keys were registering, but the password wasn't right and I realized it was a keyboard problem because even when I pressed backspace, or shift, it placed a circle in the password box like I entered a regular character. I ended up logging in with the touch screen keyboard and testing the keyboard in notepad. Every key on the keyboard was outputting a '6', even keys that were just for functions. The PC was completely on the fritz, like there was some sort of corruption or a short somewhere because the fan continued to whirl as fast as it could and the battery was constantly reporting 100% even while unplugged for a while. Also the trackpad wasn't working. I was able to shut it down but when I brought it back up the same thing happened. Eventually the battery died (even though it still said 100%) and when I recharged it and restarted it, it seemed to be fixed. But at that point I had had enough problems with a brand new laptop so I returned it for the Yoga 14. I was reluctant to swap it for the same brand, but I'm glad I did because this model seems to be much better and works perfectly. Other cons to the device to note: - The trackpads texture seemed to cause high friction on my fingers making it seem harder to use than other laptops. - The switch in the hinge that senses when it's in tablet mode seems buggy. When it was in tablet or tent mode it would frequently ask me if I wanted to switch modes and toggle the trackpad/keyboard. I mostly use it in laptop mode so it was an acceptable problem, but its worth noting. - The trackpad seemed to be to sensitive to register multiple fingers. Like I almost always use 2 fingers for scrolling, but it would frequently bring up the task switching window which was a feature for 3 fingers. Overall the trackpad software just seemed buggy. ---------------------------------------- Obviously I don't recommend this laptop. For the price point there were just too many bugs. It's possible I just had a defective unit which would explain some of the more serious problems, but even without the serious problems it isn't a great device.

Hi, we purchased Lenovo Edge 2 laptop two week back and we are extremely happy with the purchase. Its really an amazing experience especially tablet mode switch. Laptop is very fast with great features (i7, 8gb, 1tb). good for programing. Only minor flaw is battery life and its little slow with the updates. This is highly recommended.

I absolutely love this Lenovo. Works great as a tablet and is easy to hold. Love how light and thin it is. Graphics are pretty good as well, can even run a few games on the highest graphics settings. Only small problem I have is the right side mouse button is a little hard to use sometimes; I wish it wasn't the same surface as the trackpad, but that's pretty much the norm today. Overall, a great machine!

The computer is great. It's fast and i haven't had any glitches. I love that the keyboard has the number pad on the side. It helps out a lot when I'm putting in inventory. At first i had an issue with the wifi adapter but geek squad helped me figure it out and now it's working great again.

When I first bought this computer I returned it twice. And actually took it back a third time but they fixed the one I have now. And it works alright but lately it has been blacking out. Going to sleep and not waking back up. Toooo late to take back but may take to Best Buy to have them look at it or may reset to factory to see if that helps. Any way it works but still has a few bugs. Would I recommend, the verdict is still out.

I like this laptop a LOT! Had a problem with the mouse pad at first (wouldn't work after turning laptop on till you hit f6), like it so much that i dealt with that small problem that eventually went away. Fast, clear, easy to use. And Speaker is GREAT!

I spent a lot of time in Best Buy trying to find the best computer for me in the price range I could afford. This computer seemed to be the best choice. It's horrible. I find that I am now using my IPhone for everything I possibly can instead of the computer. * when it goes into sleep mode it is impossible to turn back on. I had to turn off the sleep mode function. * entire areas of the screen stop working. Meaning I cannot click into or tap into a button on link. So very frustrating. * it is SLOW. Painfully SLOW. * the screen suddenly zooms all the way out or all the way in. I could go on and on... I only bought it 4 weeks ago and I'm realizing that I need to go buy a new computer. I'm going to invest in a Mac. This computer causes me immense frustration. This was typed on my iPhone....

I purchased the laptop to help with some work that I do, and it has performed very well the processing speed is quite impressive, The screen is quite clear and you really can enjoy watching movies or any kind of video with great quality. Gaming is also great . It is a little bulky in tablet mode when you fold it in half but the sensors on it worked very well I don't quite sensitive. It does have an HDMI slot as well as USB slot, Jack for your headset.but it does not have infrared camera that you will not be able to do the face recognition to unlock.I deafly love this laptop and I think you will as well

    Excellent PC

Let me preface by saying that as a long time Mac user this is my first PC since switching to Windows. I did some research on the different brands and was satisfied that Lenovo's were of superior build quality before I made the purchase. There are pro's and con's with everything you buy, but the pro's far outweigh the con's enough to rate this 5 stars. The pros; Intel Core i7 CPU, 8GB Ram, NVDIA Discrete Graphics Processor, very large hard drive, excellent display, great typing keyboard, backlit keyboard, responsive and smooth multi touch trackpad (while not on par with a MacBook Pro, very close), 2 in 1 touchscreen and tablet mode (although I only use it as a standard laptop I did test the tablet mode and it works great), very fast and responsive system overall with excellent boot times and shutdown times, handles multitasking very well. The cons; not very loud audio, first Windows update crashed the wireless adapter (easy fix with an updated driver though), no three finger swipe to navigate back and forth in web browsers, no hybrid hard drive option. Overall I am very happy with this system. It is very fast, the aluminum body is very sturdy and durable without the fear of denting it like with Mac laptops and for those that complain about Windows 10, I just don't get it. I actually love Windows 10 and I am coming over from Mac. Much more customizable, lightweight, better native App Store and your not locked in to Apple's walled garden that wouldn't play well with my Roku or my Galaxy Note 4 like this Lenovo will. For the price this is a heck of a steal. I spent 4 times this for my last Mac and there is not much difference.

This was everything I needed until the Windows 10 1511 update. Then everything went down hill. I'm running a business on this laptop so I had ZERO time to wait until Windows would find a solution. Unfortunately, I had to return this laptop and get another brand. Had it not been the update problem, this PC is amazing for graphic designing, Photoshop, web managing and Checking out clients.

It works well when having multiple browsers tabs open. Edge Browser froze on me on some websites. Started using Chrome and it worked OK. Also the none user serviceable HDD is a Negative. For the price i paid i would have liked 16GB Ram. Also Nvdia error can not connect to update driver is annoying. Will probably have to manually uninstall/reinstall Update software. Touch pad acts a little weird since; buttons are under touch pad. It thinks you are pinching and zooms pages in and out. Probably can be configured better.
